Well, everything's back to normal, or what passes for it around here. Isn't that right? So I've got a question.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't usually care much what others think. The only one worth listening to now is myself. But some of you guys have been here a lot longer than me, so I thought I'd ask.

What do you make of the claims about the destruction of the worlds?

That's quite a subject, I know. Feel free to take your time in answering.

As for the claims of their destruction, I continue to find it outlandish, especially with the new information we've been given.

However I give them a bit more plausibility now then I did.

Until we can be a hundred percent certain, I'd say it's a lie.

I mean, we have no way of really knowing, do we? It's all through the administrators that we see and hear what happened to our worlds. Who's to say they aren't manipulating us that way?

Well, regardless of whether you're capable or not, I'm certain you could make someone wish their world was destroyed.

Of course worlds being destroyed is possible. It's a natural consequence of there being more than one. If new worlds can be created, old ones can die.

But all of them? Except for this one?

Of course they would tell us anything to make themselves look better. So why should I believe that which I can't verify?

Nothing I've seen has convinced me otherwise. They're all just--tricks, playing with people's minds.

Whether it's true or not, it matters little to me. [ Sound familiar? Even down to the same refined dialect... Nunnally gives a firm nod to show her resolve before she continues. ] The state of the world wasn't the best when I left it, so it's more than likely the truth. Even if it was, I have hope that there is a new world out there where the good people here could reunite and come together. It'd be difficult to pull together a political system and laws with so many cultures clashing, but I have faith we will be able to overcome it.

Is that really your reaction? "Ah, the world is probably destroyed. But the new one will be better, so let's have a party." Or something like that.

It's not that I disagree with you. But I'm surprised, to hear it from someone so young.

...so I see you're still as bright as ever. I don't really get your paradox of not caring what we think and then asking what it was, but I'll answer:
