[It started off innocent enough... but now this has gotten to be just plain weird. He hasn't heard about any symptom like his from the network or in passing lately, so he decides to address anyone who may be active.]

Anyone else hearing voices?

[Though his voice might be a little bit muffled through the surgical mask he's taken to wearing to avoid getting sick.]

Who told you about the- I mean. Maybe. Why do you care?

[Scoff]

I don't care. I'm curious.

Some would call it rude to go around asking people about the voices that may or may not be in their heads, you know.

And some would find it rude to evade a simple question.

...Fine.

There may have been one or two... or ten thousand instances in my life in which I've heard voices that others were incapable of hearing for themselves, yes. Who wants to know?

No one.

But do you still hear those voices while you're here?

Well, Herr No One, it is very nice to meet you. [You can almost taste the sarcasm dripping off of his words.]

And yes, I do. I have never stopped hearing them.

[True to his words, the voices he hears are just whispering contentedly to him at the moment. It's almost soothing.]

Ever thought of seeing a doc about that?

Don't be daft. I am a doctor.

What kind of doctor? There's different sorts, you know.

I'm a military doctor. I've been trained to do many different things. Surgery, check-ups, setting broken bones, blah blah blah...

[He waves a hand dismissively, even though he's not on video.]

The point is, I can take care of myself!
