[01] || [Christmas] || [Text / Video]

Greetings people of the tower.

[ The message is simultaneously sent in video and text formats. ]

In a few days is an event called Christmas or Noel, originating from planet Earth. Christmas is a custom that is widely appreciated by humans as an occasion to be happy and spend time with loved ones. It is tradition to reunite with family, friends and even strangers in order to celebrate and simply... 'have a good time'.

I propose for Christmas Eve on the 24th of December and for Christmas itself on the 25th of December, that we all reunite in order to celebrate the event. As I believe many inhabitants of the tower currently suffer from some kind of disease, a celebration may be especially appreciated.

I have been working on decorating the 38th Floor in that end. I believe many in this tower probably may share similar plan, it would be advantageous if we could work together so that we have a... hell of a party ready in time.

[She moved closer to really bask in its glory.]

This was the kind of tree we always read about, but they weren't easy to come by.

[Not that her christmas memories of decorating bonsai trees were any less special...]

Yes. Natural trees like this are hard to come by. They're almost all under protection, especially on Miltia. So you can't just cut them down.

[She nodded.] Yes, we are. And that's true too. Real domesticated animals are very rare. Most people are happy with synthetic or mechanical ones though.

Because of the events that transpired before I arrived, I might have never even seen a real tree again at all. With the weight of the situation, I guess I never even thought about it.

But it's funny how easily humans can take things for granted.

Well, humans left Lost Jerusalem because something happened there. It isn't well documented, but the entire planet of Earth was destroyed, or left uninhabitable. Some things were saved... Some species, books, art... But I suppose that even more was gone forever.
