[It had taken awhile, but Tohko had finally managed to get everything made and had fond out just how to get the video settings to work. She'll be standing there, smiling, with a table behind her and a pile of presents on it..as well as a basket of fruit. A small mailbox sat on the corner of the table, separate from everything else.]

It may be a little late, but I still want to hand you guys Christmas presents, so please do show up!

Oh..you're welcome! Although..I should be the one thanking you. You've been kind enough to keep giving me daily lessons all this time. I know I haven't been doing well lately, thanks to my illness, but now that I'm better, I'll catch up. If you hadn't taught me, I would have died several times here.

Saber..you didn't 'serve' me. You taught me. In my opinion, you're a great teacher, and you're a great friend.

[...there were many times when being five feet tall was a pain. Such as now when she's too much at the height for head pats. Her hand comes up to gently, but firmly, grasp Tohko's wrist and move it away from her head.]

[Tohko sighed again as Saber moved her hand away from her head. Saber wasn't like Sephiroth..but her refusal of friendship made her think of the guy all the same.]

..I'm glad that you accept it..but I don't remember hiring you into my service. It's true that I'm a girl and that you're a knight..however, in the Tower, I've had to fight as well. I know that doesn't make me a knight..but even if we are different in that way, I don't see why we can't be friends. And can a knight not teach a lady?

[The last part was a slight joke on Tohko's part. However, she was a little serious about it.]

A knight can, but my code requires I protect you and do you right whenever I can. So I teach you and if needed, I will kill to keep you safe.

But I do not mind doing so for you.

Alright then..I'm glad to hear that. However, I'll do the same for you, since we're friends. I may not kill unless I have to..but I'll try to help you out whenever I can, even if I am a simple book girl.

[Tohko sighed again.]

..You know my stance on this already, Saber. If you're fighting, I'll fight alongside you. I can't just abandon a friend. I'd feel terrible if I did that. Be it you, Waver, Rei, Enoch, or Azazello..if you're a friend of mine, I'll fight and help out, even if it means I might get injured as well.

[The enemy didn't matter to Tohko either. Be it monsters, the Administrators, Wilhelm, or a god-like entity, she'd fight and help out if she could protect her friends and the things that mattered.]

I do not want you to fight along side me. I want you to be safe. And you would be a burden, keeping me from using my full power.

[And those words stung more than Saber knew. That was why Tohko always fought, always tried her best, always helped out-she liked helping people and she didn't want to be a burden to her friends and family. She looked at the ground as she spoke.]

..I see. I would be in the way of your Noble Phantasm?

[Yes, she knows. Waver has been blabbing again.]

You know who I am, therefore it is not difficult to know what my Noble Phantasm is as its use always reveals my identity. [Another reason she rarely uses it.]

It is an anti-fortress Noble Phantasm, therefore the level of destruction it causes is tremendous. You would most likely fall to collateral damage.

I know that your Noble Phantasm reveals who you really are..but I didn't find out who you were just by hearing about the Noble Phantasm. In fact, I only recently learned that it existed.

[Tohko sighed and nodded as she heard that.]

..I see. However..since it's such an important attack, you probably don't pull it out much, right? I'll be fine then..however, if you do decide to use it, give me a holler, and I'll run away so that you can use it. I'm faster than I look.

You misunderstand. I cannot give you a warning before using it because then it would give my enemy the same warning. It is tactically stupid to do that.

It's only stupid if the enemy understands the signal and if you use the same one every time.

[Tohko sighed and scratched her head.]

I guess..we'll have to agree to disagree on this, I suppose.

Now, I thank you for the gift and when mine is ready, I will present it to you. Unfortunately, the lack of heat has made it take far longer than I has expected.

The elements do not bother me. I have ample prana. The temperatures have simply slowed a process in the creation down.

[Tohko didn't know that the Servants kept themselves warm through magical energy. She nodded.]

Ah, alright then. I didn't know that, so if you were cold, I would have liked to help out. But it's good to hear that the cold doesn't bother you. And again, it's alright. I can wait.
