What is strength to you, or what it is to be strong?

Alternatively, who is it that has right to rulership, or to command? Do you agree with the sentiment that those who are strong are superior and thus have greater rights than those who are weak?

And if that is the case: may the weak become strong?

Who said anything about terrible things.

I just meant you're throwing words around to justify what you think and do.

I'm not using them to justify what I think. That is how I think.

And everyone needs justification for how they think.

Whether you recognize it or not, it is justification.

..I think they way I do because I think it's the truth. Nothing more.

Then you're simply an idiot if you have nothing to base this truth on.

I do have something to base it on! All of the stories I have read and my observations of people are the basis for my thoughts!

And what you have to base it on is your justification.

Of course you believe something because you think it is true. That is how all believe.

But you do have to justify it, and do have justification for it. Do not claim you do not.

..It has been shown in stories, that while some are strong physically, they are weak mentally, and others that are weak physically are strong mentally. Things like this also happen in real life. So, since we all have things like that-areas that we are great in that others are terrible at-we are equal in that! Equality does exist.

..Am I making any sense?

Stories are stories. There are those who are also weak mentally and physically, and those who are strong in both. And these things too happen in real life. And there are differing degrees of how weak someone is in a weakness compared to others.

So no. Equality does not exist. It exists only in you trying to make everything a shade of gray. There are extremes and, not only this. There are only extremes.

How old are you, child? I sense you have not truly come to know the cruelty of the world as it is yet.

Stories can also become part of reality! And that's true too..but people can help each other overcome some weaknesses. People can teach others to be stronger mentally or physically. And, even if they work hard and aren't as strong as others, there are still skills that people who have terrible mental and physical strength could possess that other people don't.

Only in part. However one who is taught to be physically or mentally strong by another can only be physically or mentally strong in the presence of that person. It is not a true strength.

And what skills of worth could they possess?

Only a fraction of it. And you will never fully understand that fraction. It's a flaw, and yet also an odd beauty, of humanity.

That's not true. If they're taught, they should be able to be strong or smart even when they're not in the presence of their teacher. And they could be great storytellers, painters, or singers..things like that! Skills like that are useful!

..And I don't think it's a flaw..and while I do probably only understand a small fraction, that doesn't mean that I'll never understand that fraction or the whole thing!

Art can be appreciated. Useful, however, is not necessarily correct. Singing can be, as it is the Ancient Common Tongue, but all others fall away. I appreciate art. But just because one is good at art does not mean they have value.

A fraction is still only a fraction.

It is useful! After all, things like that can convey ideas and knowledge that might not be easily made otherwise. And the value can only truly be understood by the person making it and the person listening, reading, or looking at the work!

..But that fraction could grow. I could understand and experience more over time.

Art cannot feed a family, or destroy your enemy. Art is precious in its own way, but it is not a practical skill.

It can, but it will always be limited. That is the curse of humanity.

However, humanities blessing is that the knowledge of that fraction is passed on to the next generation, who understands more of the fraction and then dies and passes more of their knowledge onto the next generation who understands more of the fraction and so on.

That evolution. That is mankind's true strength.

..It could feed a person. After all, there are stories about people with unusual diets. And there are even more stories about people going insane from a book or piece of artwork! There's even a story about the military using some music to make their enemy go insane so that they could peacefully take it over!

..Evolution is rather important, and so is knowledge that's been passed down..but I'd still like to understand every single part of it, and the whole thing, if I can. Understanding bits and pieces doesn't always help when you're alive.

I suppose that is true. There are some creatures who do feed off it. But not maybe. But I will concede it to be true.

You can't. As I said, it's the limitation of humanity. But the gift of humanity is that each generation becomes stronger.

It is good that each generation becomes stronger..but that doesn't mean that I don't want to know all I can or improve myself where I can.

No. You should always attempt to make yourself all you can.

But to say you will know everything isn't possible. Not even He knows everything.

Well, I would like to know everything, and I will try to..but that doesn't mean I'll succeed. Even so, I want to try. And if even the god in your universe doesn't know everything, then why bother calling him a god?

Omnipotence, despite human conception, isn't what makes a god god or even the creator of all God.

It's simply what He'd like man to believe.

I know it's not the only thing that makes god god..but I wasn't aware that it was only what he'd like people to believe. I suppose this is only in your universe though. We don't really know if god exists in ours.

He most likely does.

I doubt He is different in any other. Some things are eternal, and cross boundaries.

Some thing may ring true for some universes..but I'm sure there are others that don't quite check out either. The existence of God in my universe and what he's actually like may be one of them.

Perhaps. I don't care if it's different.
