[ Nothing will be able to distress Kyouko, and for her world being destroyed? She was reluctant to believe it, however was it much better, from living within a death school?! One thing that bothered her was the collar wrapped around her neck, and what purpose it served.

It wasn't soon before long that she had found any means of communication, to find out where this place was, and what she could do about it. As the video turned on, stoic expression would be met, alongside a pale-skinned detective.

Her expression did not change, only trying her own patience and ready to speak. ]

No way, superheroes do exist. There's probably at least one of them here, since there's so many special people.

Yes. I've heard of some really powerful people here who are just as strong and cool as superheroes.. isn't that great? Since we're here, we can meet all these people.

It would depend on if you had met them, or not. [ Superheroes, this is one conversation Kirigiri could have never imagined herself having. ]

Yes, I suppose it might very well be great. [ And there's nothing to do but meet people, she supposes. ] Would you not rather to find a way out?

[ Don't worry, Kirigiri, Urotsuki is an expert in giving people conversations they never thought they'd have. Or that they never even wanted to have.. ]

... I don't want to leave. [ She states it pretty bluntly, even if it's also still blank. ]

[ Phew, that's a relief! Thankfully it isn't just her. ]

.. And why is that? [ Almost too blunt for Kirigiri, but then again she's fairly blunt herself. ]

This place.. it might be a little bad at times, but it's where everyone gathers. If we'd leave this tower, we would all go our seperate ways again, and.. I don't want that.

[ Compared to back home, where she was practically all alone, this is paradise to her. ]

[ She's sure that nowhere is as bad as Hope's Peak, however this place might become a close second. ]

It would be best to go our separate ways. [ To put it bluntly. ] To not get involved with someone, is the only solution here and anywhere else.

Quite easily. [ She needs to save all the people. ] It is best, and to remove yourself from danger that way.

.. Would you guide those into danger, without thinking of the consequences?

I.. don't want my friends to be in danger.. [ She doesn't care about herself, but with the friends she finally made it's a big deal. A big deal for sure. ]

But.. I.. I thought that you're just supposed to protect your friends in that case..

If you can prevent it, such a thing would be frivolous. [ Especially here, since she has heard about those monsters!!! ]

Yes, that is true; however if that is the only one way to protect them-- wouldn't you wish to protect them?

Yeah. I want to protect them. But I also want to be with them.

[ And if she'd be entirely honest, she would admit the latter is more important than the former. She's not that selfless. ]

.. It's fine though. Even if it's this place.. I'll protect my friends. I can.

Then that would be difficult to do..

[ Especially if she also had friends at home! Maybe it was lucky for Kirigiri that she didn't exactly have friends, at least those she cared about. ]

And what of your friends in your own world? If they are not here, how do you suppose to protect them? [ She really didn't take her nice pills today,, ]

I have no friends there.

[ SAYING IT SO STRAIGHTFORWARD.. Urotsuki, you really have no shame, do you. ]

So there's nothing to worry about. My only friends from back home are always with me.

[ At least Kirigiri isn't the only friendless loser here! Not even she would admit that so straightforwardly though! ]

Then why do you worry? Wouldn't you see it as pointless if you do not have any?

[ Friendless losers bonding.. and possibly becoming friends? That's crossing a few laws here. ]

I had none back home. But I have a lot here. So.. the ones here, they're what's important. It's why this place is more important than back home to me.

There I was alone, and mom and dad were never around too. Here.. I'm not alone anymore.

Is it that you have no fears? [ At least it seemed that way to her, not knowing the other for long but hearing someone boldy state it, could at least make the young detective smile. ]

Ah, not everyone is able to be blessed with family members after all. [ A hint of bitterness in her tone, she also knew how it felt to have no family around. ]

[ The bitterness seems to completely fly over the girl's head, instead she focuses on the first half of what Kirigiri says. ]

.. Do you think this place is scary? [ Asking that instead of directly answering the question, yes. ]

[ As it always does, she's lucky Kirigiri is used to this kind of stuff, even if it does bother her. ]

I have nothing to fear in this tower, my answer is no. Why is it you ask?

A lot of people think this place is scary. I don't think it is. That's not since there's nothing I'm afraid of, but..

.. It's since this place is just not scary. [ She nods to herself with a blank face. ] Get it?

Then you are not most people. I am used to this danger, still I have nothing to fear. [ Even if she died, she wasn't afraid of it. These things happened. ]

Do many have the same thoughts? I can understand if most think of the tower that way. [ So she nods. ] I understand, you are trying to be brave.

I don't think I'm trying anything..

[ It's true, not like it's a conscious effort on her part. Urotsuki just literally has no sense of danger, really. ]

But I think most people think this place is scary or they just don't like it.
