[Some time after his return, Minato went onto the network.]

This is Minato Arisato of SEES.

[He wondered what happened to the other Minato.]

I have returned from my world. If there is anything I need to know, please tell me.

[If anyone want to ask him questions, it's fine by him. It would take a lot to really bothered him by this point.]

[Minato might need to clarify some things with Ryoji. He heard about the Seal, when Minato haven't reach that far yet.

Yeah. Being able to talk to people again is nice. [Making each day of his life a little more lively. Sometimes, it can get awkward or hard, but it means not being alone.]

Did you get the basic information? [He can explain for Ryoji's benefit.]

[Minato hasn't become the Seal? That will be strange for Ryoji to hear, but he'll be at least a little happy. Maybe he can prepare him for it. For all the pain and loneliness.]

Um, I think so... they said we're stuck here, but our worlds might not be gone, and that I have to stay in my room and eat certain things... and that there are monsters, and something about experiments...

[He's still a little lost, but at least he's not completely hopeless.]

It's a nice thing to think of, but when he's confronted with his world's state in person, it's hard to believe that.

What he can believe are other possibilities.]

Unless they send you home, you're stuck in this tower. Staying in your room is an option, but it's not completely foolproof. [The experiments may affect your roommates.] It's better to know how to defend yourself and have someone watching your back.

As for food, the cafeteria is usually safe. The restaurant's payment method are too high to worth it.

[Ryoji's just desperate to believe it, to hold on to some tiny bit of hope that he didn't ruin everything again.]

Why? I thought I had to sleep in there, and my roommate seems alright...

D-Don't worry, Minato-kun. I can handle myself. And if you ever need help, call me, okay?

[He doesn't really care about someone watching his back. He just wants to do that for anyone important to him in the tower.]

I'm glad, I didn't bring any money.

[He didn't have anything in the Seal, really, and he's more than surprised to see that his trunk holds more than he carried there.]

Your roommates may get affected by the experiments, so you have to be careful, even if you want to help them.

[He once was compelled to sing a song, unknowingly giving dark thoughts to people who hear him.]

They don't ask for money, but it's still a good idea to either choose the cafeteria, cook your own or have someone cook for you.

[Minato's been learning to improve his cooking skill, ever since Shinjiro's departure a long time ago. Which feels longer than it should be.]

Oh... I guess that is true. What exactly are the experiments?

[That's what Ryoji's focused on right now, finding out just what might happen to his friends when the Tower takes control. He isn't too worried about cooking or finding food. He isn't really sure if he needs food, anyways. And if he does, he doesn't really care as long as he's the one getting sick, not anyone else.]

As it implies, the admins put us through experiments to "help" them. The experiments varies between affecting our mind, perception or body, or all of the above. Sometimes, the environment will be a part of it.

Most of the time, it's common for deaths to occur. Fortunately, death isn't permenant here.

[Which means those who died would wake up and face that reality. Those who killed will deal with it from others or their own conscience.]

That's... that's horrible. What kind of help could they get from torturing people like that?

At least they won't die for good. It would be a massacre... so many pointless endings.

[It's been a while since he look at his notes.]

Yes, if it's weren't for it, many wouldn't be walking around any more. [Including himself. He died here before.]

Still, having to deal with the pain of dying without the peace afterwards... I imagine that would be hard.

Yes, it was hard. You would have to face what your death here means when you died at the time. [Failed to win, fail to protect, failed to control yourself.] The most we can do is learn from them.

Right... I suppose the experience would give you something to change about yourself.

[But something about Minato's statement seems off...]

It... was hard? You sound like you know what it feels like...
