[ That affect, of course... was him sensing Animus beginning to awaken. Though whether it actually was, or if it was just a sensation he's feeling due to the event itself, remains to be seen. ]

[ The eternal recurrence was always meant to be a temporary solution, though if it were to end, it could only be when humanity was strong enough to end the process themselves. ]

I see. Wouldn't it still get a little boring going in a loop and having the same things happen over and over again?

Perhaps it would, if anyone remembered the previous cycle.

[She takes a second to think on how that would work.]

I guess that makes sense. If the cycle takes longer than their life time. They'd die and when they're born again, it would make sense for them to not remember.

That is correct, yes. Humans do not remember their past lives, and neither do I. Only U-DO is unaffected by the eternal recurrence.

So what does God do besides withstand the timeloops?

U-DO maintains a type of scientific fascination in humanity. However, normal humans cannot withstand his presence, and are usually driven insane as a result.

So humans are God's little experiment in your world? Well, I can't say that's too different from what happened in mine. Does he limit himself to observing? If he does, why not make time move in a line, so things can actually change?
