[The terminal comes on to video of tattooed hands flickering over it and then a form in spiky armor pacing irritably in front of it.]

Two weeks and I have found no exit. Only stairs, magic, and demons. Or creatures that might as well be.

[He stops pacing and finally leans over the computer to bring his face into focus. From his voice, it shouldn't be much of a surprise that he looks distinctly displeased.]

So I resort to this "technology."

Who knows how to remove these collars?

Maybe. I think something might have happened, and I put one in for something that's not stairs, but I am not completely sure.

They take us from our homes and collar us, yet listen to what we ask? A peculiar madness.
