[Lancer is slowly getting better at this network thing, though he still doesn't know how to do anything fancy with it and doesn't really like it.  He would much rather be talking to people face to face, but he knows in this case, that is just not a feasible option.  Not if he wants to find what he's looking for in an acceptable amount of time.

The face that greats the network this afternoon is somewhat pale and uncertain, though very focused on his task.]

Forgive my intrusion, but I was wondering if I could ask for some assistance from the residents here.  After last week's experiment, I would like to try and find a few things to gift to others.  I arrived shortly before the experiment started and so, I'm afraid I don't really know where to start looking for these things.

Specifically what I'm looking for are things related to tea and serving it, but I'm open to other suggestions if you have them.  I don't have a whole lot since I'm new, but I am a skilled fighter among other things and very willing to offer my services in trade for any assistance I receive.

I thank you all in advance for your help.  It is greatly appreciated.

I ask again, what good would it do besides cause more bad feelings? I think he...suffered enough. For all I know, if he were brought here, he would still be paralyzed and unable to use his magic any longer. He would be no challenge to you.

However, if you insist, his name is Kayneth Archibald El-Melloi. I request, however, if his fiancee, Sola-Ui Nuada-Re Sophia-Ri, ever arrives here, you hold nothing against her. She...was a victim in all of this--both to the situation and my curse.

[Oh, he catches those implications. Catches them so hard he turns bright red and defending Kayneth is all but forgotten.]

N-no, that's not all right! I mean...just let me deal with it. I don't know if it would even still be affecting her if she came here. Since the tower has messed with how my curse works it might just end up being like it was with Arturia and....

[Oops...there he goes getting redder again. That was one secret he had hoped to keep that way.]

[Lancer takes a deep breath to try and calm himself. It's not working. He's still just as red as he can be.]

It seems like when I was brought here they did something to my curse. It activates randomly now and it happened to activate when I was talking to her the other day. I'm not sure what changed from when we were in the war together, but this time she wasn't able to resist is as completely as she did then.

S-so we're kind of avoiding each other for the time being and hoping it will wear off soon. Actually, we got together for a short time the other day and while it was still there, she was able to work through it. I just hope it will soon break completely.

Yes, and while I greatly appreciate your offer, I will decline it for now. She is as embarrassed about this as I am and actually seems to feel it is somehow her fault, though I have told her time and time again that it's not. Knowing that I accidentally told someone might just make it worse.

Give us just a little more time. If the spell doesn't wear off soon, I will tell her about your offer and see if she would like to take you up on it.

I should get going if I'm going to talk to both Rin and Kariya today as you requested.

[Not that he's looking forward to it, but he doesn't want to keep running from it either.]

Is there anything else you would ask of me before I go?

[He then shuts the monitor off, takes a deep breath and heads off to find Kariya.]
