Alright, listen up!

Given that the stupid plan with the nuclear reactor failed a while ago, and the insane robot girl roaming about, I can conclude that any weapon that relies on huge supplies of energy is doomed to fail or backfire in one way or another, thus the use of creating small scale mobile suits or robots is utterly useless if it can be turned against us, so small scale weapons and such will have to do with a limited chance of backfire.

Thus I'm asking all of you for weapon ideas. As ridiculous as some of these are, this might be the one chance to build something useful that won't one day tries to kill all of us. But if you want something magical, ask something else. I'm not some silly witch or something.

I find that cutlery, in the right hands, is surprisingly elegant when one is strapped for weapon choices.

Okay, and how about something more useful than that?

I am a firm believer in knives. Small weapons are designed to strike at weak points in armor. However, if you are going to insist upon high powered artillery of some sort, you are going to want a gunsmith.

Should have just said that in the first place rather than stupid kitchen tools.

That depends extensively on the sorts of kitchen tools we're talking about, now doesn't it? I have seen forks kill, after all. But yes, knives was what I meant.

Then that's something useful.

Have you considered, perhaps, using the workshop several floors down to sharpen and prepare weapons? Even if you are only skilled in maintenance, the next step should be within reason with some practice.

Of course I have. If the blade of a weapon is dull, it's damn near useless.

... I meant taking up weaponsmithing itself. There should be the tools you would need in that for at least something like small blades, I would imagine.

something with range, that isn't too flashy. you don't want to drag in something even bigger than the one you're already dealing with.

Hey, hey, it's psychic bullcrap. There's a difference. I happen to be a specialist on all the kinds of bullcrap we have going on in this tower.

Anyway, that's just me being honest about what's really useful, but you can stick with your useless mundane stuff.

Psychic then. Even so, developing a weapon like that is going to take time and materials I don't have. Moreover, the potential for failure is high, and the strain on the psychic using the material could be great. And to bypass any defenses of another psychic, all we have are just pure metal materials.

Well, do keep up the weapon making idea, at least! Maybe someone will show up out the woodwork who can help with the stuff you can't do.

You're gonna have to be more specific with a weapon type. I'm not one of those fighting trainers in this tower.

I don't know what sort of weapon he would feel most comfortable with. ...Perhaps one with good reach?

Enoch, I'm not a weapon's expert in terms of fighting style. If anything, I'm best with guns.

My apologies. I'm only trying to see to my friend's protection, but I do not know what fighting style would suit him. Perhaps a staff or a spear?

To be entirely on "your level", for this small moment I should say that more than just small arms weapons are working. The modifications I have made to my armor are far from being "small" and yet work perfectly fine. They are my size--and I am a male who stands at more than six feet, at that--and they are but gauntlets.

*Scoff* Of course, "small arms" describes them perfectly when you consider they were created by Doom, who is more than capable of building much larger weapons and powerful weapons.
