Greetings.

[ As is usual for Data, his message is simultaneously sent in both video and text formats. ]

There has been a weeding recently and in one week is an event known as "Saint Valentine's Day", a holiday associated with romantic love. It is an occasion in which lovers express their love for each other in a special manner, most often depending on their culture and past.

But what is love? How would you define that feeling? I have been told about love before, but it is a most... complicated emotion and no explanation I have heard truly conveyed an understanding of the feeling.

[If Mello's mood wasn't bad before, it is now. That's just what he needs, more people to rub it in his face about how much less emotional they are. And thinking about emotions just makes him more emotional, which grates on his nerves, and god damn it why does this always happen to him.

He tries to quiet his anger by convincing himself that it's a necessary thing, feeling so strongly. Sure, he may never be able to act with all the cool nonchalance that Near secretes from every pore of his stupid body, but his emotions drive him to get things done.

The chocolate that he's nibbling on helps him to think straight, too.]

Emotions that you "wish" to feel? What's stopping you now? Wait, don't tell me - you're a literal robot, right? Some sort of clone, or android? Wouldn't surprise me any.

[He's so fed up with all the different people here, aliens and shapeshifters and mutants. In different circumstances, he might be intrigued, but being trapped for a month in a shitty tower has put a damper on his mood (to put things lightly).]
