I don't think they celebrate them so much as they enjoy mocking us with them.

Yes. Especially since a lot of them involve family- families which most people here have lost, if their worlds were truly destroyed.

I don't think there's a lot of holidays about family. I've never celebrated a holiday with my family before..

Not many here have- but those who have are likely to be more affected by the reminder of it than most.
