[ When Data appears on the network, he has in hand a Scottish Bagpipe, which he obviously picked from the music floor. The android does not speak, as far as he is concerned this would be inappropriate. Instead he starts playing on the network Amazing Grace, using the Scottish Bagpipe as instrument. He will do so for several minutes.
Dax was maybe an administrators, but the one working on bringing them home and helping them. Data could see he was the most appreciated of them all and he will be missed. Hence it is customary to play a memorial tune to remember and honor him. ]

[The android claims to have no feelings, yet, If nothing else, he seems to understand them much more than others.
Diarmuid looks away from the video for a moment, shame in his eyes.]
And a reminder why I should really remember how to trust more.

[ He pauses before adding something at these words. ]
That is correct. However, not having trusted him before can be understandable. Given what informations were available to us, we had as many reason to trust Dax as we had not to. Maybe his death was the only way he could prove his real intentions to us.

You are right. I just hope that all he was working for won't be lost. Something good should come from a sacrifice like that. It should not be wasted.
Video
... We can only hope.
