[ frodo despite his quiet nature, his habit to keep to himself in this place, is still present. he looks far more worn (worse) than last he spoke, his eyes shadowed and blue, face pale. in his hands is a book, acquired from the library, and yes, he's aware of what's been happening.

you'd think he's speak grim words, with such a worn looking body, but instead his voice is light, faint but present: ]

Do you have a story? One that perhaps you've grown up with as a child? Or one that's stayed with you. 'That really mattered, ' As a dear friend might say.

I think I should like to hear of such stories, if you can still remember them. I asked a place before this one the same question, but each person has a different tale, or so I'd believe. What of yours?

[ if you can still remember them in a place as dark as this, they same to grow darker still, the places he goes. ]

It means, I do not listen to childhood stories. [ Or that she has ever been told of them. ]

Which sort of things are these?

Depending on the depth of the story, I suppose that could be the case. However, if one story is in fact dark already, then your point would become invalid.

And you would think of stories when a time becomes unpleasant? I don't seem to follow your logic. [ She doesn't follow that logic, living in a school of mutual killing gives you that mindset, she supposes. But encouraging? Logically, stories are the last thing she would think of. ]
