Um, hello everyone. I just had a question that's been bothering me for awhile now and I'd really really appreciate it if you could help me with it.

Anyway If someone is suffering do you think it is right to kill them to end their pain? I really don't know myself....

I asked because I wanted to know what other people thought about the problem and because my other half seems to thinks differently then most people. I wanted to show her that not everyone thinks like she does.

And I don't know anyone who is suffering right now, it's been an issue I've had to deal with in the past though.

Your other half, though... I assume you disagree with how she thinks? Or are you just trying to teach her to be a little more open-minded?

I don't agree with her at all. She believes that just being alive is a form of suffering.

Why the hell would she think that? What's wrong with being alive?

She seems to think that if a person dies they'll never have to suffer again.

Then she needs to stop thinking that.

Suffering is a part of life, yes, but it isn't all that life is or all it has to be. To say that death is the only way to escape suffering is depressing and childish.
