I take it no one has explained their taking turns in 'running' the tower and its experiments on a monthly basis? If not, then it is exactly as it implies. For this month, Jason is more than likely in charge- unless someone has gone and angered Ruana.

What does it mean. I ask not for vague handwaving, but an explanation.

It means that he runs the tower, what it can or cannot do for us, what we are given to eat, whether we have means for alternatives, and that he has more or less full reign over the experiments.

The last is what's most important, as Jason takes the 'experiment' part the furthest out of all of them. The likelihood of a transformation into something that only vaguely resembles a human being, or of having one's internal organs messed around in are high.

Hopefully, he's gotten the brain surgery bug out of his system after the first time.

There are f- four admins who run the Tower. They take turns over who's running it each month. This month, it's a man named Jason. He's... an awful person, who likes experimenting on people.

They're down in the admin levels, and going down there just gets you killed.
