[Standing in front of the machine known as the terminal, Thorin frowned. He had only figured out how to work this from others he had met upon arriving into the tower. He hoped his calls would be answered as he was not in the best of moods right now. Being kidnapped was something any dwarf objected to.]

If anyone is listening to this, I have some questions. Do you know who abducted us from our world and placed us within this tower? I demand to be told why and if there is a way out. [There has to be.]

Also, is there anywhere to find food and drink as I am rather hungry and thirsty. I cannot live on fresh air alone.

[This was directed to his captors, whomever they might be.]

I urge someone to answer this as I am need of aid and answers. I will not be held in this prison willingly. Know this.

Are you a musical man, Rabbit? We dwarves enjoy a good song and drink around the fire. [He nodded.] Aye. There has to be a way out of here somewhere.

Yeah! I go-go-got tons of songs! I've be-be-been writin' 'em for one hundred an' seventeen years. Professional singer!

Ca-ca-can't really drink though. No stomach.

[Aaaaand here's the elevator! Ready for the longest elevator ride ever?]

No stomach? What kind of creature are you? [He was no man if he could not eat nor drink. Thorin got into the elevator and studied Rabbit. The creature confused him.]

[He removes his hat to show off the rest of his head. All shiny copper and iron. Well... not really so shiny, there's green patina everywhere. Looks like someone is a bit lackadasical about polishing]

Me an' my brothers are singing mu-mu-musical automatons.

You're a robot? [Thorin just stared for a moment before frowning. This place was odd. A mechanical man. Whatever next?]

There are none like you from where I hail from.

No-not yet, but maybe! You'll tell me if ya see one of 'em right? Th-th-there's The Spine, he's tallern' I am, all si-silver, wears black clothes and a bl-black hat. An' then there's Th' Jon, he's gold an' has red suspenders an' a top hat. It kinda looks like mine, only taller.

[He puts his hat back on his head, speaking of which]

They're m-my little brothers, I'm the o-o-oldest one. Gotta lo-look out for 'em.

Perhaps we will meet some of your brothers within the walls of this tower, Rabbit. [What else would they stumble across? Monsters perhaps?]

What sort of food do they serve in this cafeteria?

[Oh please not monsters, Rabbit doesn't wanna have to fight.]

I dunno! Ne-ne-never been down there before. Hope it's go-good food though. An' water, I need ta top off.

Aye. Water I could do with. [His throat was very dry and he could do with more than water. An ale perhaps?]

Okay! We-we-we'll both go down an' ge-get a water! Or... I'll get a water, an' you ca-can get whatever it is you drink. Sodapop? Ginger ale?

Ale or mead would suit me. [Sorry, Rabbit. He doesn't do soft drinks.]
