[ Rare is it for Rin to use the terminals, but when she does her skill with it is anything but decent. Her typing is usually off, so when she uses video early this morning, it's only natural that it catches a a brief glimpse of her. Most of her head is clipped off by the edges of the camera, but she doesn't bother to move into position properly. Behind her mostly is an empty hallway, void of any life (human and monster) surprisingly. ]

Some of you have items that were damaged. [ A simple phrase, but she comes off as awkward in saying it. ] From the weather.

I'll try to help you with them. [ A pause, then: ] With restoration, that is. I might be able to assist, but don't get your hopes up. I'll decide when we meet face-to-face if it's something I want to do or not.

It'll cost you more than likely. [ It wont, but if she comes off too charitable in public, who knows what people might ask of her next. ] We can discuss that in person. It'd be scandalous to invite you to my room to personally discuss it, so think of another place we can meet up.

[ It takes her longer to arrive to the library. It isn't due to her taking her time, although she might play it off as that. With a small wave, she pauses to look at the items before him curiously. ]

What a weird collection. Is this stuff you've made?

[He looks up when he see her approaching. At her question, he shake his head.]

No, I didn't make them. They're gifts from my friends.

[A treasured memento and a simple but just as treasured gift.]

Who makes a toy for a boy your age?

[ It isn't meant to be taken in offense, but Rin's never been the best at speaking with others. ]

These, these should be easy.

The toy's bought from a store.

[So technically, no one make it just for him. But he's not really offended.]

A store... Funny how we don't really have those here. Who would have thought it?

[ Tilting her head lazily. ] You don't mind letting some stranger use magecraft on these, right?

Money would be useless, and I haven't heard of anyone officially setting up a store for their services here.

[Most likely in exchange for offers or practical items, like food and tools.

He blinks, before nodding.] I don't mind. You don't seem to be malicious, so I'm willing to let you use magic...magecraft on them.

[...Yes, he's taking a chance.]

Really?

[ She's grown used to the white hair, red eyes stereotype thrown upon her. That and her quickness to anger likely didn't aid in things any. ]

Alright, could you hand it to me? Er, one of them at least.

[With everything he experienced and the number of people he met, Minato learned to withhold any opinions he have about stereotypes. Sometimes they're true, sometimes it's a don't judge a book by its cover thing.

With a nod, he hand over the Handmade Choker to Rin. Out of the two items, it's more precious to him because of its significance.]

[ Taking it within her hand, she'll examine it up close curiously as though that would aid in the restoration any. ]

What is this from? [ Idle chatter usually helps with this sort of thing. ]

[The choker seems like it was designed for Minato, the choice of colours would match him pretty well. Kenji did have a decent eye for fashion.]

A friend of mine. He made it for me as a gift.

[ Her fingers light up as she chants under her breath softly words that are in another language (German maybe?); either way, it's practiced enough to overwork whatever natural language barrier there was in this place.

And soon?

Soon it's fully repaired. ]

What kind of guy makes a choker for another guy?

[Probably German? But Minato's only familiar with Japanese, English and some French.]

A guy who likes to keep up with the trends.

[Even if Kenji's an idiot, he's still a friend with some good points.

It's subtle, but Minato's a little happier to see the choker fully repaired.]

[ Holding it out for him: ] It's alright now, isn't it?

I've never heard of a trend of a guy wearing a woman's choker, but modern day fashion is really weird.

[He takes it, examining it on every side. After a moment, he nods.] Yeah, it's alright.

[He's pretty darn happy.] And it depends on which part of fashion you're looking into.

I don't know much. I mostly stuck to my school uniform and the same thing for after school. Sometimes I'd dress up nice, but rarely. I never really went out much... my town was kind of boring.

[ Tacking on that last line so she doesn't sound like a basement dweller. ]

[He won't think badly of her, but it did make him ask.]

Have you ever consider visiting other places?

[Now that the choker's fixed, his Jack Frost toy is next.]

I couldn't leave home.

[ Taking the toy into her hands, she stares down at it. Shouldn't this be the sort of thing a little girl plays with instead... ]

There was an elderly man who needed me to stay nearby. His health was poor and he was too irritable for many others to take care of.

[But Jack Frosts have universal appeal!]

A relative of yours? [Speaking of elderlies, Minato think of the old couple in the book shop. He wouldn't be able to talk to them again, at the moment.]

Not by blood. [ Hmph. ] Unfortunately, he ended up being my responsibility.

[ When was the last time she held a toy? The process is quicker this time only so that she can hold it back out towards him.

She's too old for toys. ]

[No one is too old for toys, Rin. It's all in having the right state of mind.

There's a small smile when he take the toy back.]
