ouch that sounds tough guess some heroes and princesses have to start early i'm glad she has you though even kings are people
i can understand what you're saying i would do the same for my brother he didn't have to live as zelda did but in the modern time too few have seen him as a person even his master that he devoted his life to betrayed him and he's so honorable that it's easy for people to take advantage of him so for all that he's a hero he needs someone to stand by him
whatever we have to do if this is what i have to do for him then i'm fine with it too
I suppose I am a little over-protective of her. She waited for me a long time. And then held my hand as I fumbled through my stupid quest, watching the people around me perish so that we might take Ganondorf down.
Not much good it did; as you can see, he is alive and well here, in a manner of speaking. If he did not exist, she would not be this way at all. And it infuriates me. That it is his fault she is so sad. But I can do nothing about it.
Except try to make her happier. Hero is a ridiculous, heavy-handed title and burden to bear. Zelda lost everything. Her family. Her home. All to that man. And it was mostly my fault. I have to set this right. If I could go back and change it... I would.
I only hope you can make him happier, somehow, too.
and you seem to be a pretty good hero sorry if i ever talked down to you
that sounds tough for both of you to deal with but the thing for us heroes is that we can't always lament the past we can't focus so hard on changing what's already happened that we lose sight of the future
[Though if he had some way to change what had happened to Misaya, or what had happened to Diarmuid during his Grail War, he would.]
i'd say what you're doing is about correct try to make her happier fight alongside her if you get the chance keep her human that's what i'd do in your shoes that's what any hero can do
funny how the situation is kinda opposite with me, though
... I will not pry into your situation, it would be unbecoming But I will say that... I wonder if my music can fill every floor of this Tower.
The music from my home is special. My people are special. ... They were, at least. We see music in everything, we hear it. If it is alive, it sings in some way. Our trees are happy, soulful beings; the mysterious melody of my home's woods has quite an effect on some people.
If only for a few moments, I wish I could make every person in this Tower hear my song.
Zelda used to enjoy playing music with me. She taught me many songs. I hope I can bring that love of it I know she has back.
ah, it's not that bad just that he looks up to me as a hero since he read a lot about my legend so i'm just gonna be his hero
really? my homeland also had a great deal of music not as soulful as yours, but still nice to listen to so i'd appreciate it if i could hear that song you just described it must be beautiful
i don't know how well my brother sings but he's so good at so many sings maybe if i tell him to sing to zelda she'll start singing too and then you can play music together
I would not mind playing it for you. It's a nice song. A dear friend taught it to me so we could communicate, but I think it is beautiful in its own way.
Hyrule was... a wonderful place.
Maybe I should try making a broadcast with music sometime. I wonder if it would help everyone.
[ It's hastily typed; Link is usually carrying the Ocarina of Time, and has to move the Pocket Cucco in their lap out of the way first, but that's not an issue.
After a bit, the silent Hylian begins playing a rather oddly cheerful melody. The notes have an odd quality to them, even over a recording.
[ Link's face lights up. Lancer, that was great!! There is the dorkiest, happy smile on this video feed, man. Link isn't going to speak, but there is a following text: ]
You are very talented, thank you. This was nice. We should do it again. Maybe you could find an instrument on the music floor?
There is always time to learn, I could teach you! Music is in my people's very soul. In fact, it is considered odd for a Kokiri to not play at least one instrument. We make our own, even.
Fado is also here... I believe he plays something with strings. I think he would be happy to help. We could give it a try!
well... none of the people in my world are human actually we are Hylians! Though I think that is similar? I am not sure. I know we have better hearing and an aptitude for magic...
I can age though because I am Hylian. It is worth mentioning we are not like Legolas people either, which I think are called Elves. I was raised there but I did think I was their kind for a very long time no one ever told me
Well no but I was always kind of odd since Kokiri usually have a fairy that comes to them and it's considered a rite of passage... come to think of it most people here seem to usually find that odd

Re: [text -> video]
Thank you.
It was a beautiful song.
In return, would you like me to show you one from my homeland?
[He switches to audio as well, but since he has no instrument, all he can do is whistle.]
[So he whistles a quick cheerful reel.]

audio
Uh...I never really learned how to play instruments. I mean, I've been fine with just humming or whistling. And even if I did, I'd be a little rusty.
i think it's pretty obvious what she's using at this point
Fado is also here... I believe he plays something with strings. I think he would be happy to help. We could give it a try!

video... ish
[ AND THEN THIS IS A THING: ]
he looks like a child because kokiri do not age so he is also not very tall
video
Cute picture, little lady. So Kokri are some sort of phantasmal species from your world?
no subject
Though they can still die if they leave the forest or get attacked they just do not age
... My case is a bit stranger, however.
no subject
so kokri are like what you'd call nature spirits in my place
what's so strange about you?
no subject
I can age though because I am Hylian. It is worth mentioning we are not like Legolas people either, which I think are called Elves. I was raised there but I did think I was their kind for a very long time no one ever told me
no subject
but a normal kid raised by fairy things isn't that odd
and it's not like they kicked you out, right?
no subject
I have had people tell me fairies do not exist?
no subject
well they do exist
i know they do
but in this modern day and age not many people have seen 1
so they say they dont exist
