[For a moment, the video shows Meiling looking off into the distance and looks quite angry. She's leaned back in the chair in front of the terminal, twirling a knife with a blue handle in one hand.

It almost seems as if she's forgotten she turned this on or it was on accident until she suddenly sits up and taking a deep breath.]

Alright....So just because things happened does not mean we can just give up on everything.

I know I'm not the best of examples right now but..I'm done sitting around. I want to help.

[She shifts and shrugs a bit, calming herself for now]

I know the Admins can see this so if you don't want to reply here...come find me.

Also..Does anyone know how to fight with or throw knives...Or even without..I kinda want to learn if anyone is willing to teach me.

[ A grey armored figure, huge in the cavern, like a hulking nightmare of some long-forgotten age, is surrounded by the blue light, casting his gear into glinting cerulean. He waits for Meiling silently, only the occasional servomotor noise as he shifts his weight on the sand floor, adjusting. ]

[It takes a while because Meiling has never been on this floor before. So she's watching the walls and everything as she walks into the clearing. But once she notices the figure, she tenses and stops for the moment. The 5 knives are wrapped in a piece of cloth cut or torn form a blanket and held firmly in one arm. She gives a simple bow in greeting, slightly unsure of what to say at this point.]

[ The warrior returns the bow, then crosses to her standing close by. Up close she can see he is a true giant, some 8 feet tall in his warplate, and gives off a sensation of impending destruction, like a leashed hound of war. ]

[It takes her a moment, as she's not used to being almost 3 feet shorter then the person she is talking to..or just at all because everyone always seemed shorter then her in the long run. Which brought her first words to be something somewhat silly.]

You are a lot taller the I though...

[It takes a moment but she straightens up]

Not that it's a bad thing or anything...Nor will it mater in training I guess..

[Now she feels so smart.]

[ He rumbles, looking her over, then says. ]

Where are the blades?

[She nods and then opens the bundle with the knives. They each have a different color handle, 2 green, 2 blue and one black. They shine a bit oddly.]

Here they are. They re not originally mine. They are a co-worker's blades. I know them well but at the same time..

[She shakes her head. Not the time to be distracted. She should know better by now]

[ He waits for her permission before touching him, he's not impolite, after all ]

[She nods and takes the two green handled ones and one of the blue in one hand and holds out the last two in a unspoken offer..but makes her offer and permission out loud anyways.]

Alright. Here, I believe they are all weighted the same, despite the different colors. Knowing Sakuya, she probably did it to confuse those she fought.

[ Cerberus takes the two proffered ones, getting a feel for their weight, then offers a brief salute to Meiling. ]

[It takes her a moment to get prepared, obviously not used to using the blades at all. She puts two in her left hand, and holds the other in her right. After a moment of fidgeting with all 3 she nods, standing in a somewhat ready position. One that is mostly meant for her own style but still, She's trying.]

[ He rushes inward, sweeping the right blade high-line trying to feign an assault on her eyes while punching forward with a left-hand thrusts. ]

[If she wasn't holding the blades, she might have a decent answer to that attack. She brings her left arm up, trying to block with the two blades, worried bout that more then anything. She takes a step back, very barely noticing the thrust and trying to block it with her right, her arms flaring with the rainbow Ki she was used to using when in battle.

It does nothing more then flare up and form on her arms. It's just a instinctual reaction on her part.]

Loken snarls, started by the released ki, and follows up the deflected thrust with a shoulder barge, trying to bodily knock her down, the force behind his armored form similar to getting hit by a mid-size car in terms of momentum, should he land a blow.

[No answer to that, so she goes down with a cry of surprise and stays down. The two in her left hand fall from her fingers although the one in her right it clutched tightly.

So now she's just trying to catch her breath because, Ow..that hurt and knocked the wind out of her. Thank goodness she's used to being hit like that or she might have broken something.]

[ Garvi looks down at her. ]

Get up, and start again. At the moment, you'd be dead against a skilled opponent.

[Without meaning to, Meiling lets out a slightly frustrated growl once she's caught her breath. She really didn't mean to, she was better about keeping her emotions in check when it came to training. But there is a flicker in her eyes for a split second before she again gets to her feet.

She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, tying to re-find her center before falling back into her stance once more, wordlessly saying she was ready.]

[ He sweeps in again, trying for low cuts at her legs with the twinned knives this time, that flicker of transhuman speed at odds with his ungainly appearance. ]
