Maka died last week. She'll wake up in her bed, but before then, in the few seconds before she wakes up, there's a flash of light and she transforms, growing blades from every inch of her body, like a flower made of deadly metal with her as the center. As quickly as they appear, they vanish again.

Then comes waking up, and sleep paralysis. For ten minutes, she is trapped motionless in her bed, unable to move any part of her body. She panics, trying to fight it, but there's nothing she can do. It passes, eventually, and she sits up with a strangled screaming sob, shaking, arms wrapped around her torso.

[Eventually, she makes her way to the terminals, and figures out how to post.]

Anybody here know how to fight hand-to-hand? A spar would be a good way to work off some energy after last week.

That is true, but people usually make them out of things in the universe. They are not born like normal people and take on weapon forms in my universe.

Well, yeah, you can make normal weapons, but...

You mean there really aren't any demon weapons where you're from?

Since there are no demons in my universe either, I would have to say no.

Ah, I see. I apologize then. Don't worry though..I am sure you'll get used to other universes eventually if you stay here.

[Once again, chaos readied his gloves, just to be sure.]

[She rushes him, aiming a two-handed strike at chaos' chest.]

[chaos would manage to block her right hand with his own, but the left hand would strike. However, aside from a flinch, it didn't seem to hurt him that much, and he tried to kick Maka in the side.]

[She's not really focused on blocking, too used to having a weapon in her hands, and the kick connects with her side, knocking her backwards. There's a huff of breath, but she doesn't make any real sounds of pain.]

[chaos, for better or worse, primarily used his body to fight, so he was used to blocking. While Maka was probably in a bit of pain, chaos wasn't that injured: when you were the failsafe of the universe, you could take quite a beating.

However, he would wait for him to come at her. It was easier to fight using that method.]
