[Why hello Tower, here we have a rare sight. It's Kidou with his goggles off, showing off his beautiful red eyes! But he doesn't look very happy, and was there someone standing behind him for some reason?]

Good evening everyone, this is Kidou Yuuto...

[From behind Kidou, Genda steps to the side so he can wave at the camera.]

And I'm Genda! [waves!]

You all must be curious about why the two of us are sitting in front of a terminal like this... well... he and I had a little competition earlier this evening, and I have lost, unfortunately. We both wagered on it and because I lost, that means he gets to punish me in whatever way he wants. He chose.... a haircut.... [He says that almost as if the thought of cutting his beautiful dreads was going to kill him.]

[Genda laughs a bit, ruffling Kidou's hair.] You guys should be glad I won, really! Kidou'll look great with short hair! [Kidou makes a face at Genda and paps his hand away.]

I can't believe I'm letting you do this.... [Do you know how long it takes to dread his hair again Genda??? It'll be a hassle to do it after he grows it out...

He lets out a defeated sigh though.]

Anyway, let's get it over with already...

Alright! [The tower gets a nice view then, as Genda re-situates them both so everyone can watch while he chops off his friends hair, dread by dread by dread. They're gone for good, bro. Or at least, for a long time. All that's left is small, fuzzy curls.]

...........

[There's a small silence as Kidou dreads (ha see what I did there) looking into the small mirror they brought with them. And when he does, there's even more of a silence as he makes a face almost akin to the kind of face you'd make if you were in pain.]

I look ridiculous.....

[There's another chuckle from the goalkeeper, as he starts cleaning his friend up.] No way, Kidou; I think you look great!

.....

[And that's where a grumpy Kidou shuts the feed off, unable to show his ugly mug to his fellow Tower comrades any longer.]

I'm sorry to hear that you lost the bet, Kidou..but you know, you do look really cool with short hair!

Really... I haven't had my hair this short before, so I guess it's hard to get used to...

I imagine it would be, if you haven't had it cut in a long time..but I imagine that you'll probably get used to it eventually. At least, that's what I think.

I will in due time, I'm sure. It's just strange... Though I guess it's a little bit to my advantage... My hair was getting very long after all, and it's a little hard to do certain things with long hair... [He can't think of what would be hard with long hair but he'll believe in this anyway to make himself feel better about this whole thing]

That's true..it is hard to run away from monsters sometimes when you have long hair, I imagine. But..there are probably a few advantages to having long hair too, and disadvantages to having it short as well.

But don't worry! Hair grows back in time, so I'm sure you'll have your dreads back soon!

..Oh! I'm sorry..they are kind of like braids, in a way. It's a shame that you lost them then, if you liked them..but I'm sure they'll grow back someday!

My hair will grow back, but it's such a hassle to braid my hair like that again.... if only my father or Kageyama-sousuii were here... they were the only people who really knew how to do it...

[Yep you heard him, he doesn't even know how to dread his own hair. He's never had to do it by himself, seeing as he's always kept his hair in the dreads since he was a little child.]

Maybe..but you know, there might be a couple of books here that can show you how to do it! Or there might be a few residents here who can help you, if you ask around.

[Tohko had kept her hair in braids since she was little, and knew how to do them..but she didn't know how to make dreads, so she was at a bit of a loss here.]

Ah, you're right. I'll probably be able to get someone to help me, if anything.

I'm sure you'll be able to! After all, there are a lot of kind people in the Tower, and a few of them probably have some skill with getting your hair back in order.

[ .. Huh? At first she has no idea what's going on, but as the video goes on and on all she can do is stare. In fact, Urotsuki herself isn't sure what to think about it, but.. by the end Kidou seems so grumpy, so by then her reaction is fairly instinctive. ]

Yuuto.. did he hurt you? [ Because she will cut something else if she has to. No, literally. ]

[He was going to reply with text because he's still a baby but he thought perhaps video would be better for this..]

No, no, don't worry about that! Genda would never hurt me, and he's surprisingly really well at cutting hair. [He gives her a reassuring smile.]

I'm sorry if I worried you by my reaction, I just really don't like having my hair this short...

[ Hmm.. well, if he says it isn't bad, then she won't do anything. It takes a moment of consideration though, but then the slightly threatening feel about her seems to leave, replaced by her usual blankness. ]

I think it's cute though, Yuuto. .. Ah, I liked your normal hair too though.

[He's relieved to see her not threatening anymore, but now there was something else very important bugging him...]

...which do you like better?

[ She squints a little, as if she's trying to judge. Even leaning closer to the screen and everything.. ]

.. Hmm.. it's difficult. I think I like every kind of Yuuto, no matter what kind of hair he has..

[His cheeks flush a little and he gives her a smile.]

Even if I dyed it an atrocious color? Or shaved it all off? [Not that he'd ever do either of those.]

Hmm.. [ for a moment she thinks, tilting her head, but then she just shakes her head briefly once she's reached a conclusion. ]

No. There's a lot of people around, but.. Yuuto's definitely the most handsome. I'm sure.

[Feferi's laugh is tired. So tired. But it's there. She's only out of the water for a little bit, planning to go back, but she needed something, so out she came, and she had to pass by a terminal.]

...it's good that you're able to laugh again.

[... Oh. Oh, no... Hearing her voice makes just about everything about Genda droop, and at first, he even hides behind Kidou a bit, obviously still feeling guilty about what happened. Even with her letter in consideration...

It's not that he's scared that she hates him - he knows that she never would - and he's not scared that she's mad at him - he knows she isn't. He's worried that, right now, he'll just feel bad again... which would make her feel bad in turn...]

[... Which honestly means he shouldn't feel bad at all. He musters up what smile he can, and peeks out from around Kidou.]

I have to be able to laugh! It's one of my only redeeming qualities, you know...

[There's just a moment's pause there where she inwardly asks herself if it's too soon. If maybe she just shouldn't have waited, let this be on different terms.

...but at the same time, it's just going to be weirder and more awkward the longer it gets left like this, right? And she's already laid out how she feels.

She's only rubbing at her eyes a little because her hair's still wet and some water got in them, okay? That's not her tearing up or anything.]

[And she manages a laugh, even. And it's less hollow-sounding and a lot more like her usual than before, even if she still sounds tired.]

You have a lot more of them than that! Come on.

[He shakes his head at that, chuckling just a little bit himself.]

No way - besides, I'm proud of my smile...! Don't you like it?

That's a shelly question, of course I like your smile! I would be lying if I said I didn't.

[She pauses again, and while she's still smiling, there's just a touch of nerves in her voice when she pipes up.]

H-hey. I don't want to fish you out of Kidou's hair if it's a bad time, but, whale. If it's not. Where are you right now?

Don't worry about it, Feferi-hime, it's not a bad time. [Hey guys, did you forget about the short boy literally in between your conversation?]

He's all yours.

[...kind of. A little bit. Whoops. Feferi can't help her sheepish laughter. At least she has the grace to blush?]

Ah, oops, I - I'm sorry, Kidou!

I hardly recognize you without your usual hairstyle! But I'm sure it will grow back in no time. My hair grows really fast here, at least.

[It was well down her back when she got here, but now, it's down past her hips. Just another sign of time passing...]

It's alright. [Wow gosh it's not like Kidou was there the whole time or anything..]

Anyway, I'm sure you two want to talk to each other, so feel free to take him off my hands for now. We're at a terminal on the 3rd dormitory floor.
