[A month long visit to a dead world was not the best vacation she could ever have. Not even close.]

How in Elrios do you all manage to go on, knowing that your worlds are decimated beyond repair, by means of magic or otherwise?

Easy. I don't believe it.

Call it foolish or overly optimistic, but I like to think the admins probably just screw around with our heads.

Sorry. Maybe I shouldn't say stuff like that-- haven't been tossed back "home" myself, so I wouldn't know what it's really like.

You should be glad- just the sight of your former home saps the purpose out of you. Especially when you've worked hard to protect it from harm before all this happened.

Right... And I take it there was nobody else around, either.

[It's definitely a bleak thought. Part of why he's tried convincing himself it's a ruse, as accepting it as truth would render everything he's striven for meaningless on some level.]

Not a soul, living or otherwise. [Which was, in itself, strange.]

However, what happened to my world might not have happened to yours. Perhaps yours is still safe and sound, awaiting your eventual return. [And if there's one thing she does not want to do, it's spreading her depression.]

Well, if you want to get really technical, my world's been destroyed for a while.

But all the other worlds I've seen and all my friends... I just can't accept the possibility that they're gone. Maybe it's selfish of me, but it's what keeps me going here.

Still, I really am sorry you had to go through with that. I know that probably doesn't mean much coming from a stranger, but... well, there could be some way to turn things around. Some people seem to think that way.
