 [Hey folks, a familiar face from months ago appears on screen, though he looks...less than pleased. In fact, he is quite angry, and doesn't wait long before finally speaking. And by speaking, he shouts everything.]

Alright, I wanna who the hell threw me out of here and into a dead friggin facility! Do you have any idea how much I got lost on that rust bucket!?

Anyway, what the hell happened while I was away? And is there any good food this month? If there ain't, I'll just kill a shark or something and eat that.

[Well he's a loud one! And the girl on the other side of the feed looks a bit startled by that, although she collects herself pretty quickly.]

I don't know how long you've been gone, I only got here a few months ago myself. But since I've come here a... lot has happened. Some of which I probably shouldn't discuss over this. [Her expression turns rather serious at that for a moment, before she manages another small smile.]

Good news is, the food this month seems pretty good! They aren't nutrition bars anyways.

And uhh... [Because no, she can't let that comment slide without at least inquiring into it because did he really just say that?] Did I just hear you say you were going to kill a shark and eat it? How? [No seriously she's curious now.]

Why not? Does it even matter if admins should have ears everywhere or some crap? [Least he assumed so.]

Good point, I guess. Well the short version is that last month a whole bunch of people were rounded up, basically turned into monsters, then set loose on us. I won't even try to guess why the admins did that. [There's a somewhat angry edge to her tone of voice, but it dies off as he points at the screen, honestly a bit curious about that.]

You know I think a few months ago I would have called you crazy, but after seeing what some of the people in here can do? I'd be lying if I said I doubted you. Do you even use a weapon or do you just punch things really really hard?

Pretty much, yeah, or shoot energy. Either one usually works, and it's all fun regardless.

[She's still not comfortable dwelling on the events of last month but damned if she doesn't get curious every time someone starts talking about a fighting style she's never seen before. Because being trapped in a nightmarish Tower is no excuse to start slacking off as a soldier.]

Spirit energy? That does sound different, I guess. But about that, it never seemed like any of the mages I fought bothered with incantations. They'd just sort of gesture for a second and then I was suddenly trying to dodge lightning bolts or fireballs. Or everything would just up and explode.

... but I'm getting sidetracked! Either way that sounds amazing, I doubt I've seen anything like it back home.

Still, pretty sure my spirit energy is better than that stuff. Never really seen that many kickass mages here or anywhere else that could compete with me. Hell, I bet I am still the reigning champ of this tower!
