[The network is happily greeted by the face of a young man with surprisingly golden hair staring into the screen. It's hard to guess what he's feeling right now, seeing as how he was given the news that his world was destroyed. However, that didn't seem to phase him much, so he's not as shocked as others might be. He's relieved to know that some of his possessions came with him, but...

Enough contemplation, he finally begins to speak up.]

A shame, isn't it? That our worlds are gone? It's nothing that I would have expected in the first place, seeing as it's a bit hard to believe. However, I'll have to put my trust into it that my world is actually gone. Needless to say, I'll be missing my partners over there- unless some of them were brought here, as well. If you've ever heard of a Guido Mista, or Trish Una, please contact me.

...ah, I suppose I should introduce myself in the meantime. My name is Giorno Giovanna, and I greet all of you who were taken to this "Tower". Hopefully time will tell if I enjoy this place, or not. The atmosphere is...undesirable, however. But I'm sure some of you might have gathered that much in time.

...also, if anyone is kind enough to show me around, I would be grateful to you. I need to learn about as much of this place as I can before I can truly adventure and claim certain parts as safe. Also, a bit off the subject, but have any of you heard of what a "Stand" is? If you have, then let me know. I have some...things I'll be needing of you.

If you're going to start asking questions like that, you should wave around something. Like money or food or alcohol. Stuff doesn't come free, you know.

I've only been here a couple of months, but I can show you around some, at least the places I frequent.

Can't say I know what a Stand is, though.

Our worlds are definitely gone, though. Or at least, there's illusions of our ruined worlds that are pretty convincing. I ended up in the ruins of New York City for a day, if the name means anything to you.

Someone told me that there are m-monsters that attack at night, but our dorms are safe.

I thought things wouldn't come so easily in this place. Food and money shouldn't be a problem, however. But I'm sure you're saying this with a reason. What would that be?

I don't know. It just seemed right to say. Besides, I could really go for some cooking that isn't what this place offers.

If you could do that, I would be most grateful. I suppose some sort of payment is in need for your services.

New York City in America, I take it? Hm, I'm from Italy myself, but I do know the names of major cities across the globe. A pity, however, that our worlds were destroyed...but I'm sure a ruined Italy wouldn't be too hard to imagine.

I feared that there might have been something lurking in this place. I take it...you're afraid of such things? These monsters, that is.

I don't really need a payment. Not like money does any good here, and I don't really need anything unless you happen to have a pocket knife I can borrow.

Yeah, that's the one. I imagine that Italy is just as ruined in my world. Here's to hoping you don't ever go back there. I think this place even with all the crap is a lesser hell.

Nah, I don't need it for self defense. I've got my own weapon for that. The pocket knife is so I can carve out a quiver.

From what I have been told, it is a virus that destroys worlds that caused the ruin. No trees or anything in my world when I went there-- Central Park was completely gone.

You got that letter that said you were saved, right? Near as I can tell it's all crap. Last month a lot of people were kidnapped and came back wrong. Couldn't talk, and a lot of them were horribly mutated. Seems this guy, Jason, likes to experiment on people for some sick pleasure.

Whoevers in charge this month, Riki, I think, seems a bit less sadistic but I couldn't tell you a lot about him.

...Get in anyone's way? It depends- but I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem. You could still help, after all. Unless, of course, you need someone to protect you.

But first, I'd need to know the sort of food they have here- I haven't seen it for myself, yet.

Unless you're eating what the cafeteria serves, which is usually crap, you have to hunt, kill, and cook whatever you can get on certain floors.

A quiver? For a bow, I take it. Hm, naturally that would make you...an archer, correct?

[No life? That earns an eyebrow raise from him.] If such a virus like that was able to wipe out the entire world...no, worlds, even...I'm a little reluctant to return home, now.

[But hearing all of this does turn Giorno's expression a bit sour- experiments? On those that didn't deserve it?] I do remember that letter...but if it's telling us false things, then that would mean that the people running this place would be...ill. I hope that they don't have the misfortune of running into me, if that's the case.

I suppose that shouldn't be a problem- but I'm not a fan of meats in the first place. If it's vegetables and fruits you are after, I can provide that easily.

If it tastes good and its right in front of me, I'll take it.

I have experience. I'm better with a sword, but hunting with a sword isn't the best.

I wouldn't go after the administrators. Before I got here, I was told one of them, Ruana, killed and ate an administrator that was trying to help us Broadcasted it for everyone to see.

I really can't do anything, so I'd rather just stay away from the monsters...

I don't have any monster-fighting powers or anything like that.

Hm~. Then I'll see what I can produce and you can determine if it's well enough to eat. Then could you lend me your services?

A hunter? I wouldn't have imagined running into the sort in this place. Although, that would mean that there are monsters lurking in this place...

I'm sure it would be a shock to anyone- although that would mean that starting anew wouldn't be too hard, as well.

...hm~. That's would be under the assumption that they could touch me. Although, I do await to see what these "administrators" can do, seeing as how eating someone and broadcasting it would be quite terrifying.
