Ahem. I'd be most grateful if someone could inform me where in this tower I could find some more decent clothing than those issued to us.

[Her lips thin at even having to mention the unacceptable items of clothing.]

I'm afraid I'm quite new, so I don't know where to even begin.

For reference, 'decent' means tops that button up to the neck and skirts that are at least ankle length. Thank you.

If you mean the last location I was present at before being taken to the tower, it would be the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. However if you mean my birth place, it would be the planet Omicron Theta.

Oh! Is that very far from Earth? [Or perhaps she shouldn't assume] If you knew of Earth before you came here. I know I certainly didn't know anything about different worlds or times until I was kidnapped myself.

It is 36.4 light years away from Earth. [He nodded] I know Earth very well. The one I call 'father' has his origin on Earth and it is the homeworld of most of my comrades.

I don't suppose you have any idea where in the universe we might be, Mr Data?

All I know is that we are most likely no longer within the confine of our own universes but in another, different universe. This planet is an alternate version of Earth-- The current year is unconfirmed but I believe we must at least be in 30th century, most likely a later century.

Any other information can only be theories.
