[ Homura gave herself quite a few days to think this through. She's spent her time wandering the tower, thoroughly checking every corner for a way out and squashing any insecurity those letters brought about. It's quite likely that your character has not so much as seen her, given how Homura is presently not sure who she can trust in this tower and is being quite careful to avoid distractions.

But that isn't working. Not just that, but Madoka is here. It won't do to not check in on Madoka every once and a while, if only to give her 'friend' one less person to worry about. Plus, as much as she hates it, it has become clear that she can't get a total grasp on this place by herself. Homura would rather not learn everything from experience in such a dangerous place, and after watching the network terminal for a while she can see that the other users aren't so bad. No harm in trying, anyway. ]

A good day to you all. I am Homura Akemi. I have been here for less than a week. I understand those letters may have many of you uneasy right now, but I would appreciate any information you have to offer regarding the current situation.

[ Her mind gradually wanders. The letter being brought up allowed a pang of guilt to break through her thoughts, as well as a mental image of the other magical girls presumably not saved. Well, if Madoka is here and from such an early time like herself then maybe... ]

[It isn't too long of a wait, but more so than it should take the normal citizen to find their way to the Library. After a good half hour, a young man wearing a straw hat atop his head enters the book-filled floor. His eyes dart around, looking to the few occupants and trying to seek out the young girl.

He wasn't one to keep quiet, unfortunately, as he spotted Homura and began to wave his hands overhead.]

"OI~! HOMURA!!"

[ She turns when she hears her name called, standing from her terminal chair and bowing her head. ]

So you're looking for your friends, huh? Hmm.. Where to look, where to look?

Mm. Where to?

[ She had hoped that he had some idea. ]

Maybe your friends are in the Cafeteria? That's where I'd go! Maybe they got hungry and couldn't wait around.

[ Well, that is a place she'd need to know of anyway. And both Kyoko and Madoka are food lovers. ]

Very well. Lead the way?

Sure! Just follow me!

[Luffy digs into his pocket and withdraws a crudely made napkin map.]

We've gotta' get ourselves to the elevator first. It's.. Umm.. "10 paces past the library and on the right". Ok~! This way!

Okay. I'm following.

[ Was that supposed to be a map just now? Homura reminds herself to withhold judgment. She herself might want to make a map, though she wouldn't put it on a napkin of all things. ]

How long have you been here?

[Continuing to lead the way, Luffy turns his head over his shoulder to look at Homura as he walked.]

Me? A few months, not as long as some people here. It's not all bad. I'm sure if you're friends are here they're probably eating oatmeal in the Cafeteria.

[It doesn't take very long for them to find the elevator, though it does take some tinkering and some thinking for Luffy to recall how to use the transport. Very soon they're inside, the elevator beginning it's descent into the lower floors.]

So, what's your world like back home? Is there lots of delicious food there?

Mm. I would like to think they have at least eaten it once.

[ She does not want Madoka being sick! ]

... And yes. There is apparently a lot of good food there. [ Madoka and Kyoko are foodies for a reason, right? ]

Oh yeah? What's the best food to get there? Where you're from, I mean.

[Luffy's licking his lips, imagining all of the amazing food his mind can create. Maybe in Homura's world they had Ham Melon the size of houses. Before he can even pursue the thought, the doors to the elevator opened and spilled into view the cafeteria's double doors.]

Ah! Here we are! Hungry?

[rewindingly]

Best? I suppose...

[ She has no idea. What would Madoka or Kyouko say? ]

It depends on the cook.

[Placing a hand on his right shoulder, Luffy's left arm cocks back as if he were going to punch the air.]

I'll grab us some food!

[As his arm shoots forward into a punch, Luffy's arm doesn't cease at the normal human distance. His arm stretches like a length of rope being tossed a great distance, reaching out and securing a plate litered with bowls of oatmeal with an open hand.]

[ GFSAHH WHAT DID HE JUST....... ]

H-how...?

[As he turns to face her, offering her a bowl of oatmeal, Luffy drops the other two servings into his mouth. Spitting the bowls out, he catches them and extends his arm out once again and returns the empty vessels to the serving counter.]
