[ Homura gave herself quite a few days to think this through. She's spent her time wandering the tower, thoroughly checking every corner for a way out and squashing any insecurity those letters brought about. It's quite likely that your character has not so much as seen her, given how Homura is presently not sure who she can trust in this tower and is being quite careful to avoid distractions.

But that isn't working. Not just that, but Madoka is here. It won't do to not check in on Madoka every once and a while, if only to give her 'friend' one less person to worry about. Plus, as much as she hates it, it has become clear that she can't get a total grasp on this place by herself. Homura would rather not learn everything from experience in such a dangerous place, and after watching the network terminal for a while she can see that the other users aren't so bad. No harm in trying, anyway. ]

A good day to you all. I am Homura Akemi. I have been here for less than a week. I understand those letters may have many of you uneasy right now, but I would appreciate any information you have to offer regarding the current situation.

[ Her mind gradually wanders. The letter being brought up allowed a pang of guilt to break through her thoughts, as well as a mental image of the other magical girls presumably not saved. Well, if Madoka is here and from such an early time like herself then maybe... ]

Apparently the tower administrators took you away before, and choose to either erase those memories, or choose you from another timeline, possibly.

If you cannot remember, then there's not much we can do anyway.

I'm friend with Mami, and I spoke with Madoka over the network too, if she's a friend of yours. And I'm good friend with Kyoko as well!

As for what I know about this place..This is the Tower of Animus. Four people now run it-Riki, a secretive man who builds the Tower and is in charge of the records, Zo, a small child who can bring souls here, Jason, a sadistic medical doctor who sometimes experiments on the residents. He, I believe, helps transfer your soul when you die. Finally, there’s Ruana, a woman who has been here for thousands of years and doesn’t quite understand human empathy or emotions, and hates it when people go against her. She may seem sweet, but she is capable of removing free will and cannibalizing her own Administrators.

There used to be a fifth Administrator named Dax. He was the most humane of the bunch and did his best to protect us from Jason and the monsters here. He even managed to sneak people down to the Administrative levels in order to let them know more about this place. However, when he tried to go against Ruana..she killed and ate him, possibly absorbing his powers in the process. He was a good man.

Death isn’t permanent here. If you die, you’ll just wake up in your bed the next day. However, don’t throw your life away for foolish reasons. For one thing, you’ll probably get punished if you die too many times, and for the other…your body is made up of recycled parts. Only your soul was pulled to this universe. Your body, and the ones you’ll have afterward, are not your original body. That’s why you have the collar. It helps make sure your soul safely stays in your body.

I’m sorry to say that your universe is destroyed. You may see people you know here, but they won’t be from your own universe or point in time. I don’t know exactly how our universes were destroyed, but I do know that it was caused by Ruana watching our universes, for some reason.

If you haven’t been to the cafeteria yet, make sure that you eat the oatmeal when you do. If you don’t, you’ll throw up anything else you try to eat until you finish it. However, you can eat anything you want afterwards, and you can add things to the oatmeal to improve the taste.

Monsters roam the Tower at night, and some of the higher floors have monsters that attack if you get too close. If you can’t fight, then I would suggest learning. There are plenty of people here who would be willing to teach you.

[It's a bit of a shame that Homura, in all her cautiousness, had chosen to hide appearance. She was a very pretty girl.]

[With so many people going in and out of the Tower, Karkat has gotten used to seeing faces reappear, but he doesn't recognize this one despite her apparent connection to Sayaka. So the grey-skinned, candy-corn horned alien narrows his multi-faceted eye at the terminal.]

[So Homura's back. Kyoko can't help but feel a touch of relief upon seeing the other girl on the screen. She's come to trust Homura over the course of her stay in the tower, but even if she didn't, the girl was useful. Reliable. Those traits meant more than trust.

Now it's just a matter of whether or not she remembers that.]

Ah, so you finally decided to come back from your vacation. And here I was starting to think that you just planned on lazing around forever.

[ Homura watches the Kyouko on the screen. They know each other. She can't immediately pinpoint whether Kyouko knows her from their home, from their alliance, or had only met her during her tower stay.

Whatever the reason behind Kyouko's familiar tone, Homura knows it is wrongly placed. She is not the Homura that Kyouko thinks she is talking to. And Kyouko isn't a girl that Homura will tell even a white lie to. ]

I am not the Akemi Homura you think you are speaking to. This is my first time in the tower.
