[ Homura gave herself quite a few days to think this through. She's spent her time wandering the tower, thoroughly checking every corner for a way out and squashing any insecurity those letters brought about. It's quite likely that your character has not so much as seen her, given how Homura is presently not sure who she can trust in this tower and is being quite careful to avoid distractions.

But that isn't working. Not just that, but Madoka is here. It won't do to not check in on Madoka every once and a while, if only to give her 'friend' one less person to worry about. Plus, as much as she hates it, it has become clear that she can't get a total grasp on this place by herself. Homura would rather not learn everything from experience in such a dangerous place, and after watching the network terminal for a while she can see that the other users aren't so bad. No harm in trying, anyway. ]

A good day to you all. I am Homura Akemi. I have been here for less than a week. I understand those letters may have many of you uneasy right now, but I would appreciate any information you have to offer regarding the current situation.

[ Her mind gradually wanders. The letter being brought up allowed a pang of guilt to break through her thoughts, as well as a mental image of the other magical girls presumably not saved. Well, if Madoka is here and from such an early time like herself then maybe... ]

Tomoe Mami, Sakura Kyouko, and Miki Sayaka. If you have heard those names then please let me know. Thank you for your time.

[ And a few minutes later there will be a Homura wandering around the first floor of the apartments. She never asked exactly which room to go to. ]

[After a bit of wondering what had become of her friend, Madoka pokes her head just outside her room's door and calls for Homura.]

Are you there, Homura?

[ Homura turns when she hears Madoka's voice. It's quickly apparent that this isn't the Madoka she had arrived with. An alternate, perhaps, like those girls had mentioned. This Madoka is more friendly and seems to know her more favorably as well. ]

Madoka-san. It's good to see you. [ She walks back to Madoka's room. ] So this is your room.

[Madoka sees her friend in and sits down on her bed.]

It's good to see you to. I know it's a little bare but feel free to make yourself at home.

[rewindingly]

Not at all. [ Being in Madoka's room at all, even if it's a bit bare, is nice. It feels like old times... ] Have you been well these past few months, Madoka-san?

[mask_of_suffering]

Well, things have been rough with all the experiments and other bad things the administrators throw at us every month and I ended up crying for a whole day after I found out you left, but otherwise I'm personally fine.

With all my friends here it's hard to be sad for very long.

[rewindingly]

Cried?

[ Over her? Homura is almost glad to hear that... but she felt that for the other Homura. ]

I'm here now. I'm sorry for having left.

[mask_of_suffering]

Oh no! It's not your fault, its something none of us could have prevented.

Your back now and that's all that matters.

... Mm.

[ It's so strange to talk to a Madoka who enjoys her company again. One who doesn't think of her as a strange or weirdo. ]

I won't ever leave your side again, Madoka. I promise.

[Madoka blushes lightly, that was something she didn't expect Homura to ever say. But that aside, she still liked the idea of them being friends for as long as possible.]

I'd like that.

[rewindingly]

[ Her own cheeks are becoming warm and red. ]'

Have you eaten today, Madoka-san?

I haven't yet. Would you like to get lunch together?

[rewindingly]

... Yes. I'd like that.

[mask_of_suffering]

Let's go then, I'll just warn you that if this is your first meal here your going to have to eat the oatmeal.

[rewindingly]

Do not worry. [ She already learned the hard way that she should have just eaten the oatmeal. ]

Is the cafeteria any good here, would you say?

It depends on the month. Sometimes it's fine but other times we end up eating nothing but cookies for weeks on end.

Perhaps we can begin storing nonperishable foods somewhere, for those emergency cases?

[mask_of_suffering]

That's not a bad idea. I could probably learn to cook to, if that would help.

[rewindingly]

Mm. I'll see what I can collect. I had seen a room with a forest, so I can possibly get you fresh ingredients as well.

[ She can store food in her room, Madoka's room, other Madoka's room, and her shield. Madokas would be starving or getting sick, nope! ]

That sounds good, and it would be nice if I could cook dinner for you someday.

[rewindingly]

[ That sounds so nice. So normal. ]

Me too, Madoka. That would be lovely.

Great! I'll make sure to cook something really good.

But for now we should go get lunch, after all the talk about food I'm really hungry.

[ She giggles softly. Oh Madoka. ]

Of course. Let us be on our way before you starve, Madoka-san.
