[Instead of getting his own terminal, Johto John has just been reading over his counterpart's shoulder every so often while the two otherwise shoot the breeze. For the most part, he's kept his nose out of the other John's conversations (Rose being the one exception) but with this one, he notices something he just can't ignore. He gently nudges the taller John out of the way so he can get at the keyboard with a quiet "here, let me handle this."]

[Unless Maka has changed her ID number to her name, John has no idea who it is he's talking to. This might be a good thing because he'd be even more disappointed if he heard somebody he knew and is still pretty fond of (despite not having seen her for two years) talking like that.]

alt me may be in the dark about some things because he hasn't been here as long as me, but he's not wrong about this.
just because our worlds are gone doesn't mean there's nothing outside this tower.
actually, i know for a fact that there are still some worlds that weren't destroyed.
long story, but we had some other-worldly visitors a few months back.
and i don't mean that in the sense of aliens or ghosts, though technically some of them were aliens but that's beside the point.
the point is, there's still something out there and we have a year at best to figure things out and get out of here.
so don't think like that, alright?

I didn't say there wasn't anything out there. I just said we can't assume there is.

If we know that there were people who came here from another world, then that means there is something out there. We just have to figure out how to leave this one.

yes, there are two of the same person here. there are actually a couple instances of this! it's just kind of a thing this place does.
you must be really new here if this is the first you have encountered an instance of doubles though.

i was in another world before i was brought here. like another one besides my original home, i mean.
soul was one of the first people i met there. and you were there for a while as well.
or another version of you i guess. since you don't remember it and there are apparently infinite parallel universes out there.

johto was basically like earth but with magic animals.
so much nicer than this place and generally just a pretty damn awesome place to be.
i miss it a lot, more than my own home universe to tell you the truth.

My Earth has magic animals, so I guess it wouldn't be too different from Johto.
