[John just turns his head and gives his alternate self a look.]

Okay, let's wrap up the rest of these conversations for now and go see what she wants, yeah?

[[After she dashes her way up there oops.]]

[Wow no need to be giving those looks. John just turns back to the keyboard and begins wrapping up his conversations so they can leave.]

What do you think she wants?

No idea. Maybe she knitted something for us? That's about all I can think of.

[He moves away from the computer, waiting on his alternate self before leaving.]

[[Little John, you are completely correct. She did indeed knit something for the both of you. Whether or not you'll like it is another matter...]]

Okay, we can go now.

[He steps away from the terminal. COME ON SLOWPOKE.]

[He's coming, he's coming, gosh!]

[And in the interest of time, we're just going to take a moment to imagine this epic journey up the countless flights of stairs to the dorms. Because fuck elevators, seriously. Johto John here is the stair master, it is him.]

[So they do their thing, they climb the stairs and probably talk about any number of dumb things. Maybe punch each other a few more times (hopefully out of something good-natured as opposed to actual fighting.) and make a few jokes at each other's expense.]

[And finally, FINALLY. They make it up to Rose's room on the third dorm block.]

Why she couldn't have us meet her at my room since it's closer I will never understand but... [Knock, knock Rose!!!]

Coming! [[Because the surprise is in her trunk, John. She opens the door and invites them both in.]]

There are my handsome boys. Come sit down.

[Yeah, the adventure up to her room was definitely one of epic proportions. They did punch each other a few more times, but that was expected because they are boys. They're not too nice with one another sometimes! At least it wasn't actual fighting!

But he actually hates you Johto John, stairs are dumb.

But woohoo, there they are and Rose answered the door. What a good trip that was. Upon being invited in he comes in and sits on the floor. Because sitting on the beds would be terribly thoughtless of him. Especially if it's the one those two share. Ewwwwww.]

So uh, nice to see you again Rose. [Horrid flashbacks of just fifteen minutes ago when they were punching each other for the keyboard. How embarrassing.]

WOW GO ME I DIDN'T NOTICE IT WAS MY TURN...

[As he enters the room, John stops briefly in front of Rose to lean up and press a quick kiss to her cheek. That's the only form of greeting he gives before making his way over to her bed and sitting down on the edge of it.]

[[She smiles, letting them both sit before moving to her trunk. She pulls two things out of it, both obviously knit items. Apparently...she's just giving them scarves. One is purple with a Haunter face on it, the other is blue with the Breath symbol.

The haunter one is placed in little John's lap and he's given a kiss to his forehead. The breath one is placed in big John's lap...and he also gets a kiss to his forehead.]]

[Whoa this was actually a surprise, had Rose been working on these in her free time? He holds it in his hands for a moment, only slightly tinging pink when she kissed his forehead.

Man this...is such a nice gesture though! Rooooooooose.]
