[Wriggle sits at the terminal with her chin resting in her hands. She seems rather tired and irritable in her expression and the way she moves but when she speaks it seems almost bored]

So I've been thinking a lot, and then I realised that I'm not very good at thinking. I'm getting kinda sick of this place, I don't remember the last time I was somewhere that wasn't here but I've got important stuff to do.

You guys know the monsters that have been running around, right? The one with the blue mask, which one is that? That girl... Ruana? I was talking to her but she wasn't making any sense something about killing them when they're normal but I don't know what that means.

I know I don't really know a lot of you guys and I really hate to ask for help but do any of you know what we're s'posed to do? I don't wanna just lay low while all this stuff happens, I wanna do something but I don't know what.

I just hate feeling so useless all the time.

The monsters are people during the day, that's when they're 'normal' and you're supposed to kill them.

People? Really?

But there are so many people here already how am I supposed to tell which ones are monsters or not?

That's the hard part. I guess it has to do with their powers?

But I don't know anyone who can stop other people using their powers...

Wait, can't the people that run the tower stop people from using powers? It must be one of them!

I don't think that's who they mean.

Then who?

There are a lot of people in the tower, I can't just ask all of them if they're the monster. They'd probably lie to protect themselves anyway.

If... if a person had an idea he was the masked monster who hurt you, he'd beg you for forgiveness.

But he'd have to be absolutely sure that you'd be the one to stop it.

No way! Why would you just admit it like that? Are you looking to get shot?

You can speak to insects, can't you? ...Why not ask them if they've seen anyone transform? Or ask them if they could spread out as far and wide as they can in the tower, and hope one of them sees someone become a monster, or revert from one?

I've already asked them. Apparently they're really sneaky.

Plus I just lose them on some floors. You know the forest where you can't fly? Once they go in they just never come back.

Yeah, it's a real pain. It's really weird suddenly not being able to do all these things that just come naturally to me.

And sometimes one's life depends on them... But we're lucky to have them at all.

*Okay then, change of plans...* Can you ask them what they've seen monsters do?

*Figuring out how many distinct monsters there are is another good idea.*

I don't have to ask them, I've seen it myself!

They have sharp teeth and they can stop people from using their powers!

Yeah, there are a bunch of monsters running around. If you haven't seen any count yourself lucky!

But there's always monsters going around here, right? .. Well, really usually at night and in some places during the day, but.. I didn't know it was anything that new or amazing.

I know there are always monsters around but these ones are secret monsters! They have masks on and everything and that girl was talking about them before so they're probably important.

Woah, they must be special then.. maybe you need to collect them all and win a prize.
