This is... a difficult decision to make. But... I know exactly how you feel. Here, I am a person.

There are people here I never would have met otherwise, as awful as circumstances may be.

I was only born because of a prophecy that demanded my death. I was "saved" from that fate much the same way the administrators saved us, and only for the power I have to destroy.

You're not the only one who detests fate. And not the only one who loves the world anyway.

My ideal situation would be this Tower be run more caringly, with no experiments and with everyone free to choose if they could go home or not. ... We cannot fix how unnatural it is, no, but...

Honestly, I suppose I'm one of the few who doesn't mind. I would want my own powers back, not the replacements they've given us, but aside from that, I'm fairly content.

That's not exactly a popular opinion, however.

... Unsurprisingly. Many want to go back. I do not blame them. I, too, have a home that... needs me, but...

I cannot judge those who want to stay, because I want to as well. When I first came here long ago I hated it, but... the people here mean more to me than the environment, and... here, titles do not matter nearly as much... and the lack of how worthy one is for them, as well.

Cutting away the illusions also cuts away the things that don't matter. No one cares if you are of royal blood when you have no kingdom; no one cares what crimes you have committed in your world when it's gone.

It's a fresh start for a lot of people. Some have used it better than others, but all of us came here without context. All that's left is merit.

It's interesting, to see who shines and who rots.
