Does anyone else kind of want to stay here instead of go home? If there was a way to make it safe to live here, would anyone else stay?

I know there are people who would be better off here. I'm arguably one, myself; if I return to the world I had been before, I will be thrown to another world at random, and I don't know if I'll ever see my home world again. But I know there are those who have even worse fates in store, and I'm hoping that this place can be stabilized, somehow, for them, but not if it means leaving hundreds of worlds of people dead.

I want to try to make everything all right. I don't want to destroy this tower because even IF all of us leave, there are still people here, people who, while others may not think so, deserve to live as well.

I just want somewhere to stay, and this place is better than home. But now things seem even worse than they were before the power cores broke, so it's a little frightening.

I know. We're trying to make it right. As I said, our aim isn't destruction, and if we can find a way for you to remain safe, we will.

What will you do if you can't?

If there's nothing we can do, it won't stop us from restoring the worlds. We must save something, or all of this will be for nothing. I want to save everyone - you, myself, everyone else up here, and even our hosts.

But if I may, I've seen you write several times now that you believe we want to destroy the tower. We do not. We won't, if we know what we're doing. But we have no way of knowing on our own, and it's better to act than not. If we do not act, we will continue to suffer and eventually die.

We won't know what it is we can do until we make it to that point, but we won't get there by standing idle.
