Does anyone else kind of want to stay here instead of go home? If there was a way to make it safe to live here, would anyone else stay?

By "everything not broken," you mean the Tower ceasing function in a year, don't you? Even were the rest of it possible, I'm not seeing much of a way around that one.

In a way, it's kind of pointless to ask such a thing given that issue, is it not?

All of the worlds are gone, right? This tower is less broken than all of them, so shouldn't we be able to fix this one, too?

That's very true. Even so, none of us know any means of repairing whatever was powering this Tower, I believe.

And yet, suppose we were able to repair the Tower? To do so with the more dangerous administrators still in power would put us back where we started. Furthermore, we who wish to return to our home worlds would still not have a means of doing so.
