Fourth Case [Anonymous Text - Backdated to 4th]

There is an issue that has been in my mind for quite a few months, people of Animus.

As you all know, our worlds were somehow destroyed and, somehow, we were ‘saved’ by our souls being brought here and inserted into hideous wireframe constructs. Supposedly, we are still alive, despite the fact that we were ripped from our own bodies. ‘Death’, in a matter of speaking, is not permanent – we are just give a new ‘body’ to inhabit. However, in less than a year, when the Glamour system runs out, we will truly ‘die’ and not come back.

Some of us, however, are working to restore our worlds and bring us back there. The administrators claim to be doing that themselves. Whether or not they truly mean to do that, I cannot tell.

Would you believe that such a feat is truly possible, however, considering our own conditions and that of our worlds? Do you think that, somehow, the administrators can bring our worlds back so that we can return home? Or do you believe that we can find a way ourselves and stop the administrators before our time runs out next year?

Suffice to say, I am very doubtful of this idea, considering its sheer absurdity. However, as this entire tower is full of things that completely contradict proper logic, I am not sure if I can completely disregard it.

In the question of alive or dead, I personally believe this is a forced 'limbo' state. Physically we are as dead as our home worlds, and the harsh reality is that we are non-existent - not having any form whatsoever. But for our very cores, kept in cages which as far as we are aware, keep us from dissipating into nothing. Yet for some reason, everything is maintained to appear as if we have the physical form that our core is used to. I imagine this is a preservative measure.

Despite Ruana and her gloating, it remains to be known what will happen when the power goes out. Some cores are more resilient than she gives them credit for.

I see no logical reason why our Administrators would want us to go home. In fact, if a certain notion is to be believed then their intention is to re-power and repair the Tower - conductive to it's longevity and keeping us here indefinitely.

Hope is another waste of time. Much like the post with regards to love recently.

I believe in opportunities, and having the strength of mind to take them.

[If only he could get his soul free, he would not hesitate to inflict his will upon it all. The threat of the unknown, of nothing but death outside of the Tower only serves to stall the inevitable and Sephiroth would spend the time tirelessly preparing himself for that opportunity.]

Yes. Would you rather sit around and wait for that which never will come?

[It's odd that this other anonymous individual apparently doesn't think the same way, from the first post he certainly seems intelligent enough.]

Everything is with it's consequence, naturally. Every effect has it's cause. Action. Reaction.

Add a little free will into the equation and it becomes very volatile indeed.

Well, they clearly are interested in keeping us alive and trapped here, else why 'rescue' anyone from their world in the first place.

Death isn't real here, and punishment only goes as far as you allow it to deter you.

If we are all dead anyway, there is nothing to lose.

Nice try.

[Anon as they are to each other, they are not anon to the Administration and Sephiroth certainly isn't ready to flash any intents in their face so readily.]

Anything that delivers results.
