So I hear tell about some pretty interesting people around here- namely, all you 'Servants' or Heroic Spirits or whatever.

[She leans forward, chin in her hands, and taps her fingers against her cheeks.]

You guys have got to tell me some stories. Being all legendary has to make for some interesting stuff to share.

[She makes a slight face.]

It'll sure beat waiting for terrible stuff to happen at least, right?

[You can all blame Archer and Lancer.]

Can he even do that as a Lancer? I'd have guessed that to be more a skill for Berserker, if he was one.

Man don't ask me- I'm not the one who knows how this whole Servant thing works.

[She laughs, delighted.]

Be nice if he could, though. The harder the fight, the better.

It's complicated and very annoying in that respect.

So if it's not too forward to ask, who or what exactly are you that you can fight on...what I'm assuming is reasonably equal ground with a Servant?

I'm... how do I put this delicately- oh right, I don't! I'm a genetically-engineered girl who has an equally engineered copy of a legendary weapon strapped to each wrist.

I'm complicated, to put it bluntly.

Well, I can't say I expected to hear that.

No point in hiding it, I figure. I'm dead back home anyway and all the stuff trying to kill me here is a cakewalk... for the most part.

Using that logic, I would imagine you're right. There's a certain point where secrecy simply doesn't apply anymore.

I teach magic for a living; it's sort of my job to know these things. On top of that, I'm contracted to your sparring partner.

Oh- so you're his 'Master' or whatever? Hah. I thought he'd have some pretty lady as a Master.

There's an entire university for it where I'm from.

And yes, that would be the correct term for it. Though I seriously doubt he'd stand for having a woman as his Master, given his miserable fortune with them.

[If she were the faux-swooning type, she'd do so. Instead she just raises her eyebrows a little.]

[Crossing his arms, Waver frowned in what was likely meant to be disapproval.]

I'm sure he'd just be flattered. Try to restrain yourself, if you would be so kind.

Oh come on, he's a big boy, I'm sure he's heard it before.

[She rolls her eyes.]

Besides, it's not like I'm gonna try anything.

I would estimate that if you were going to, you likely would have done so already.

To be fair, I was kind of focused on kicking his ass, not tappin' it.

I take it you weren't disappointed by his skills, at least?

Are you kidding? He was amazing.

[She says the word 'amazing' in regards to their fight like most people say it in regards to sex.]

Of course. Diarmuid's simply one of the best Servants there is, in terms of combat efficiency.

Is that right?

[She sets her chin in her hand, and makes a 'go on' sort of motion.]
