Chatlog 002 ☣ We're young and we're bored

So I hear tell about some pretty interesting people around here- namely, all you 'Servants' or Heroic Spirits or whatever.

[She leans forward, chin in her hands, and taps her fingers against her cheeks.]

You guys have got to tell me some stories. Being all legendary has to make for some interesting stuff to share.

[She makes a slight face.]

It'll sure beat waiting for terrible stuff to happen at least, right?

[You can all blame Archer and Lancer.]

[She looks thoughtful, and then nods to herself, scooting up to lean her forehead against his.]

Well then, if you're putting forth the effort, a little more tough love might be in order.

[Her nails dug into his sides lightly as she dragged her hands up, fingers curling against her mouth.]

...but maybe after some dinner.

[His grin is so wide it threatens to split his face.]

Would you like a try at the restaurant? Or would you prefer home cooking?

Well, if there's going to be any home cooking, you're going to be helping.

[Things Asagi's never really had to do for herself but probably could if she wanted: cooking.]

Besides, I don't think I want to end my first date with someone trying to take a piece out of me like I hear tell they do at the restaurant.

[Yes, you did hear right.

First date.

...If this is your first date ever, then I really need to show you something special. So if you'll let me, how about I grill you some monster steaks?

[His grin becomes more mischievous.]

It's been a long time since I was any girl's first.

...it sounds good, actually.

[Never had a monster steak before, that's for certain.

Still, the latter bit makes her hold back a sputter and turn faintly pink once again.]

Yeah well, if you keep saying things like that it'll be another date before you get to be anyone's first anything again...!

[puppy_lancer]

Well what would you rather me say? That you've got two red flowers blushing here and here?

[He raises a hand to caress her cheek.]

That is literally the corniest thing I've ever hear anyone say.

[And it unfortunately only serves to make her redden further.]

It'll be two dates now. I wouldn't keep pushing my luck if I were you.

[puppy_lancer]

And how about the third date to even things out? I'm Irish, and we like doing our things in threes.

I'll bet.

[Sass.]

But fine. You've got three dates. Impress me.

[puppy_lancer]

I'll use all of my skills. And trust me. I've got a lot.

[She moves to push herself up, sitting back on her heels astride him and stretching.]

So I guess we're off to the kitchen, then?

should we handwave the date, or do you wanna log it out?

[puppy_lancer]

[He gives an appreciative little whistle as he watches her stretch.]

The kitchen, and then some floor that matches your beauty.

[She looks down at him as she finishes, and then bends backward, sets her hands on the ground, and lifts herself into a handstand to cartwheel her way off of him and to her feet. A little more showy than she normally would be, but hey.

She had to make a good impression, right?]

I swear your lines get cornier by the minute.

[But she doesn't actually look like she minds.]

That's because I'm too dazzled by you to think of anything new.

[He too springs to his feet.]

we should totally make their second date an awkward double date though

[She actually rolls her eyes at that, adjusting her shirt and everything it barely contains before looking up at him. Cloneblade deactivated, she suddenly realizes the height difference and can't help but sulk a bit.

But then she holds her hand out awkwardly, lips still pursed.]

Let's go then, before I change my mind.

[puppy_lancer]

[And looking down at Asagi...he realizes for the first time that she's tiny. Almost reflexively, he reaches to ruffle her hair before heading to the staircase.]

kay!

[irreverence]

[aldkjshfkls she swats at his hand a moment too late and turns to follow after him, grabbing the closest hand and pretending that's not at all something she just did, nope.]

guess it's an end here?

[puppy_lancer]

[He gives her hand a little squeeze and smiles at her. Then, making sure that his pace is just right for her to keep up with, starts descending the stairs.]

[And despite looking perfectly calm, Asagi is actually pretty excited.

Not every day you have your first date- and it's not every girl who gets to have it with a legend.
