I don't mean to be a nuisance, but...is anyone good with electronics, or repairing them? I could use some help fixing something I got from home.

[Okay, so maybe adding the finishing touches on a suit of fusion-powered armor is a bit beyond the typical electronics hobbyist, but in Rick's mind anyone that can successfully fiddle with a circuit board is intelligent enough to build a jetpack. Right? Isn't that how these things work?]

[As promised, there is a power suit in the workshop, and the blonde man has made his way down there to meet him. The suit itself is in pieces on a table--the parts appear to be made of brushed steel, loosely connected by bundles of cable and flexible clear tubes threaded between them. Otherwise it is neatly assembled; there are access panels for maintenance, but Rick is obviously too nervous to open them.]

[And in comes a guy...just some guy. With a gas mask and a rather snazzy and blue-looking uniform. Other than that, he seems rather unassuming. Though there was a rather large book strapped to his back.]

Hey, listen.

[Rick listens.]

--Huh? A-Are--? [He squints, confused and somewhat nervous. That mask makes him a little uncomfortable.] ...Uh...the s-s-suit? Are you...?

Hey! Listen! Hey! That mumbling and stuttering is bumming me out, guy.

[If he cares about what Rick thinks he's not showing it.]

[The teasing doesn't help, much. Rick frowns and bites his lip, blushing a heavy shade of pink as he turns away.]

...S-Sorry. I c-c-can't... [Not sure if this fellow is here to help or just to be annoying. To avoid pressing him and making matters worse, Rick assumes the latter, shuts up and goes back to quietly waiting.]

[Oh, so he is the guy who offered to help! Rick perks up, hesitant but curious.]

Uh...I d-d-don't think it's r-really...well... [He shrugs, gestures vaguely at the collection of parts in front of him.] ...I d-don't think it's f-finished. There a-are these...

[Rick carefully holds up what appears to be a backplate, except there's a weird nexus of sorts involving the clear tubes, with wires and other such electronic tomfoolery--very complex electronic tomfoolery--sticking out of it, apparently in a state of maintenance.]

...I-I think he w-was...this w-was the p-power? I d-don't...

[His eyes began to scan the parts, classes in computer engineering, as well as a minimal amount of experience with similar technology, have helped him understand a little about how such a suit works. Though if he had the actual blueprints thing would go so much smoother....]

Do you have the actual design schematics? [He's guessing not.]

[Blueprints would have been a good start, yes. This is clearly the work of a genius and is about as complicated as you would expect it to be.]
