[One second, Yukiko is there, talking into the terminal screen. The next second, she's gone. The terminal keeps recording, though all it catches is ambient background noise and video from the terminal bank in the dorms.

She'll eventually be back to answer any 'where the heck did you go?' inquiries, but it won't be before the terminal cuts off.]

Oh, joy. I'm not going to say 'it could be worse', because that's guaranteed to make it worse, but I hope our little trips to the void get less frequent over time. I don't think any of us would want to spend more time there than we have to.

It's apparently a side effect of helping to power up the Tower last month. I wish there were reality rips, just so I'd know what to avoid.

I thought it was just a side effect of being hooked up to the machine. If you don't mind my asking, how did you figure out how to control it?

You need to think of it and then you can do it. It's not really hard..
