[The video opens to a young man dressed in purple, looking a bit anxious.]

...Oh man, I really hope this thing is working. I don't think I broke it, but it's not like the 'Gear, so I don't know if it's actually transmitting...

[He studies it for a moment before finally relaxing. An easy smile crosses his face and he leans forward a bit, actually managing to look at the camera.]

Well, if this thing's working, then hi! I just woke up here this morning, so I'd like to know what's going on. The last thing I remember is going to bed in [the Team Rocket base, but he's not going to mention that] Goldenrod, and now I'm here. I don't think this is like that weird dream everyone had - this doesn't look like that castle, after all - but correct me if I'm wrong!

[He steps back from the terminal and reaches up to absently tug at the collar around his neck. For those of you who recognize this man, it might be a bit of a surprise to see that the collar is blue.]

Oh yeah, what are these for? I definitely didn't have this on when I went to sleep. It's kind of annoying, but I can't get it off. Is there any reason for that?

[Ryuunosuke pauses, tapping a finger to his chin in thought. As he's thinking, a strange ghost floats into the frame and starts pulling faces behind Ryuunosuke's back. He doesn't seem aware of it at all.]

I think that's about it. I guess I'll be here in the library if you want to come talk to me directly, otherwise I'll respond on this thing! ...Assuming it's working, that is. I'll feel really dumb if this isn't broadcasting...

[He reaches over to shut the camera off, still smiling innocently.]

[Ryuunosuke goes silent after that's out there, expression shifting from irritation to deep thought. Haunter looks more confused than his trainer, but that's kind of to be expected when you have no idea that your trainer is a serial killer.]

It would be kind of a shame if we weren't. Then we wouldn't get to discuss all the things we've done!

[oh no now he's back to being upbeat again, someone stop him]

Well, yeah, but that's what makes it cool! I get to see how he perceives the things he did and then we can talk about other cool things he's done while he's been here! I'm sure he's done all sorts of great things!

He mostly just hates Ryuunosuke so much because he liked him before finding out who he is.]

He's like twenty years older and had a different Servant. It's pretty obvious.

[WAIT, that sounds vaguely familiar. Didn't Bluebeard mention things about Servants? Oh, right, because Bluebeard is his Servant! This all has to do with that Holy Grail War thing he didn't pay any attention to!]

Ah, so you're one of the Masters in that war? I guess that explains how you found out about our hideout.

...Right, I almost forgot you were part of that out of dumb luck. I summoned Rider, he summoned Lancer. And yeah, I detected Caster's magic around your little hideout. The church wanted you two killed, and rightfully so.

Ah, really? I guess that makes sense. We weren't really paying attention to the war or anything.

Oh, so if you don't mind me asking, what's Rider like? Is he a lot like you?

[Crap he always ends up just having conversations with Ryuunosuke(s)!!! How does this happen. He should just start insulting them and then hanging up.]

Rider is...basically the opposite. He's loud and obnoxious, like seven feet tall and three people wide. He's Alexander the Great, so I guess that says a lot.

Wow, really? That's so cool! Do you guys get along well? It'd really suck if you didn't, though I guess you have those Command Seal things that you can use to control him...

We didn't get along at all, he was just annoying, spent all my money on useless crap and dragged me around. But...

[He rubs his neck. It's been over a year, but he still has a hard time describing exactly why he changed his mind. Mostly because it involves admitting he's tsundere wrong.]

I guess we did in the end. It was fun.

What changed? Was it because of the fighting or something?

He sounds like a lot of fun to be around though!

I don't know, I guess I did. Sometimes you have dreams of your Servant's memories, I think that's what started it. I started to understand him because of that.
