Hi, everyone. This is Yukiko Amagi, and I think this is starting to be a ritual with me, addressing the network towards the beginning of the month...
[She laughs at herself for a moment, but quickly regains her composure. She has something serious to say, after all, and she can't say it if she's laughing at herself.]
Anyway, that's beside the point. I know that since Jason's death, the revival process hasn't been running nearly as smoothly. There's no need to hide it; I don't think there's a one of us left here that hasn't seen a friend come back hurt. I know this is going to sound harsh, but we all need to realize that it's probably not going to get a lot better in the short time we have left.
There's no need to suffer in silence, if you've come back and you're still injured. I have healing magic and I'm sure others here also have it. If you're hurt, don't keep on being hurt. Come find one of us, and we'll patch you up as best we can. All right?
[She pauses, blinking for a second.]
...it sounds so strange to say the words 'Jason's death'. It doesn't quite feel real to me yet. Is that just me, or does anyone else feel that way?
[She clicks off the feed with that question.]

[He'll keep you in mind, Yukiko.]
I should have mentioned my room number, too. It's 1-04.
[...and she pauses.]
...how are you holding up, given what happened?
[It's true enough. One new thing to add to his nightmares isn't much.]
It's the people who saw the aftermath who've been having trouble.
I can believe it. It took the better part of this week for that aftermath to go from being every single dream I've had to only being around two-thirds of them.
Don't get me started on how hard it was to make myself start eating again, either. I am, there's no need to worry, but I'm a lot closer to vegetarian now than I had been.
[...and that's just the surface stuff. There's still the 'what do we do about Ruana now' question that she's avoiding.]

[He sobers somewhat, though he isn't exactly seriousface.]
As for Jason's death, I can't say that it does--but I wasn't affected by him as deeply as those of you who were here for longer than I was.
I'm more than glad to. It seems like the least I can do, though I'm hoping a few other people see this so we can get a list going, too.
Mm. That makes sense. It's a year ago this month that I first got a taste of what he was capable of doing to a person. It's halfway like breathing a sigh of relief and halfway waiting for some other shoe to drop, if that makes any sense at all.

It's that a whole lot of people here in the Tower wanted him dead, too, and then she had to go and make a game out of it. I can't exactly blame them - no. I can't blame us for wanting him gone, given everything he put us through.
I guess it also feels like we're going to wind up getting punished for that little game, one way or another. In a way, we already have, what with the revival process being a lot more painful, but it feels like we've either dodged a bullet or are going to need to dodge one soon.

And yeah, it's w-weird s-saying that J-Jason is dead. It's a-almost t-too good t-to be true.
[A nod.]
Yeah, exactly, or like there's another shoe still waiting to drop...

[ Her tone is still very much like she's just pointing out a simple observation, but it's not as blank as usually - it's still fairly emotionless, but there's something a little more pressing or heavier about it since the last time they spoke. ]

Hasn't anyone already said that yet?

...Can I ask you to check on one of my friends? She was hurt pretty badly, and I'm worried about how she's holding up.
[She's also just as stubborn as he is.]

How are you holding up? I can stop by and check on you, too.

...the words do sound strange.
...it really does. It's as if saying it will bring him back, but that's ridiculous.
[They've gotten used to the 'regeneration' right? At the same time something about Jason's death still bothers him.]
...I promise that my healing doesn't include frying pans.
[Might as well crack a joke.]
