I was here for - glubbing shell, I don't remember. You start to get somefin like aquadementia - ocean madness - after spending too much time on a dead world. Things get fuzzy.

I'm guessing, though, based on this timer and what people are saying, that we don't have a whole lot of time left. Figures that I'd be coming back at the end. It seems to be a thing!

[She doesn't look upset; more amused than anything.]

I remember people talking about a maze before I got here the first time. Wonder if it was the same one...who even knows with Ruana?

[No comment on the killing, other than a grim nod. She's been through enough of Ruana's games that she'd probably have gone along with it, right down to killing if she had to. The ocean doesn't teach kindness, and neither does the society she's from.]

...so when you say 'finished him off', though, I take it you mean like what happened to Dax? To say that wasn't pretty is an understatement.

Everyone wanted to kill him. Especially when she said we could get out of there if we killed him.

I don't... know who Dax is. But yeah, it wasn't pretty at all.

Shell, everyone would have wanted to kill him even without that. He's done too much to too many people. I'd have probably tried to kill him had I been there.

[Feferi's honest. She'd probably have been one of the first to go after him.]

Dax was one of the admins. The only good one, besides the kid. Ruana - well, she killed him, and she ate him. It was really not pretty.

I believe it. Ruana ate Jason too. Why, we're not really sure but it wasn't pretty either.

Zo is good. He's been trying to help us... even after everything that happened, and he said that he wasn't going to bring any more people into the tower anymore.

...people were saying back then it might have been a way for her to get Dax's powers. If Jason's dead too, Ruana probably did it to try and get them.

I'm glad. I'm reely glad, even if I guess that means we're the last bunch getting reeled in here.

So did I. A while back the tower was having power problems and Riki asked us to give him energy by hooking us up to this big machine.

[She looks... kind of embarrassed about the whole thing.]

Apparently it was just a trick to give him more energy and the tower was fine.

It wasn't your fault. That was a messed-up dirty trick. Blaming yourshellf for it - don't. I'd probubbly have gone along with it, too.
