[But that really is how she operates; it's a product of having been groomed for a certain role pretty much since she'd been hatched combined with exactly how fucked-up the Tower was. Looking out for others was just part of it.

[Gamzee's waxing smile was brought to a sudden halt at the mention of one of the (now-former) administrators. He'd had an... interesting relationship with Jason, as pretty much everyone else had had. Having heard nothing about the current state of the Tower thus far, Gamzee was pretty obviously taken aback by the news. The scrap of playful attitude he'd had flitted away, and he was left with a more serious expression.]

That motherfuckin' so. Shame the fucking honors on what go to such a wicked task as what's that is wasn't one what's was motherfuckin' ours to have.

[Though, it did explain why he wasn't waking up with a fresh Frankenstein gash across his forehead. Who had put their bodies back together, then? It left a lot of questions that he wasn't sure he wanted answered. What would be the point of knowing?]

[Feferi's sorry to see that little bit of playfulness go, but the news had to come out. It didn't feel right to leave Gamzee in the dark about that.]

...yeah. It should've been - hell, I can't think of anyone who didn't want to kill him. I'm not gonna lie and say I wouldn't have been right there in the fight, and I'm pretty damn sure you wouldn't have stayed out of it, either.

[After that month in the pod? It almost feels like one of them should have been there just to watch the son of a bitch die.]

I don't know all the details. What I do know is that Ruana threw a bunch of people into a maze and told them to start killing each other. Then she threw Jason in there and everyone went after him.
