Nightmares can be interesting, as much as they are terrifying. What we fear says much about ourselves. Corpses aren't terrible, to me. It's not the immobile dead who frighten me, it's the things that move.

Even when their organs are pouring out of their mouths? I don't know, maybe I need thicker skin, but it's not exactly pleasant out there.

No, not pleasant. Certainly not fun. But dead is dead, after all. As they are, we all will be one day. The circle of life and all of that. I wouldn't say it's a party seeing things like that, but there are.. worse things, to me. I am sorry if the dead disturb you so much, though. It would be a trial, then.

I don't know. I've just never had to deal with real death outside this place. Most of the enemies I fought faded into darkness; they didn't leave behind corpses, especially not mangled ones with their guts completely exposed.

If they were just lying there peacefully, maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but the fact is, there was no life in that city. Not even plants... The place was nothing but a wasteland. That's what made it so tough to swallow.
