But he was still nervous about getting found and killed, and then there was fighting, and then there was recovering, and to be honest, he sort of forgot??? Luckily, the Highblood was good enough to remind him about it with that horrible braying nonsense the other day. He's annoyed, both that there are threats being made and that, apparently, this is something that needs to be announced at all. But… what can he do. Aliens, and all that…]

[Yes, magic is a wonderful thing ); It was nice when it happened because being injured is never fun, but it's better now that he can surprise the Highblood like this. He will, of course, not mention Willow's name, nor the magic part at all. That could easily be a death sentence for her and he will not have that on his conscience]

Wait, is that really what he looks like? [Her voice sounds a bit odd-- off, almost, like she's restraining a reaction.] And does he really say "bluh"?

[There's several seconds of silence and then she bursts into short giggles before she cuts herself off, embarrassed.] I'm sorry, I know I should be taking this seriously, and okay, I gave him my own chewing out a little while ago, which apparently did nothing.

We obviously need to come up with some kind of plan. Just... maybe it should involve less art. [You can hear an edge of a grin to her tone, there.]

There's a long pause as he stares at the screen, slowly looking the Summoner over with a slightly more subdued grin than earlier.]

[Yes, yes... this whole Sitting Behind a Computer Screen business makes it much more difficult to get a rise out of the Summoner, though, when he thinks about it, it's hard to a get a rise out of him at all anywhere. It's annoying as hell, man.

He doesn't read the mouth twitch as anything interesting and ignores it. Fuck you you smug bastard goddddd

The Summoner is just trying to make him angry, he knows this. It works pretty well all things considered, but he knows better than to just make a total babbling fool of himself. Sure, most of the time he already sounds like that, but those are usually on purpose!]

Is that motherfucking so? I SUPPOSE I GOT TO BE STEPPING UP MY GAME A LITTLE, THEN. Don't I? [He slowly rubs his chin a little, appearing almost unaffected by the Summoner's mocking words, even though he is. Possibly it would be a good thing to be a little scared in this case. He is not just big and mean...! [Sighs faintly );] But uh... he is easy to anger. Sometimes. That is probably our best bet if we were to try to, take him head on.

So he doesn't have some kind of, like, berserker advantage when he gets angry? Cause I think I was pissing him off pretty fast by pretending like he had nothing on me, so that I can do.

[It's just hard to be scared of someone else after her experiences with Glory and the First. Nothing here could come close to what it was like, how bone-chillingly frightening, they both were and are. Back home when she'd left everyone was at the end of their rope already, the group tearing apart and barely coming back together each time. It was just so tame here in comparison, so much less emotionally charged.
