I... I had to play, but I... cannot stand watching everyone else die. If I had found a way out of here, a door... anything, then perhaps this would not have occurred...
[ The surefire way to break Link's spirit is to make everyone they've gotten attached to die horribly. ]

[His sentence is cut off and he looks over quickly. But after a moment, he turns his attention back to the cellphone.]

[He then cries out, startled, as he is drug off out from under the couch. He is then taken into the kitchen by the bear and his eyes widen. He looks over at the cellphone and slides it across the floor so it was faced towards the ceiling, a good distance away; he didn't want the two seeing what was about to happen.
All they can hear is the sound of something being chopped into something else after that and Link's painful screams. Blood spatters on the communicator and after a final chop, he is silenced. After that, there is the sound of something being stuffed into bottles and laughter.]
