And then they give a startled jump, attempting to remain silent as the sound of an exploding toilet is heard. Furious whispering to the phone: GO. ]

[Another video clicks on, and suddenly that exploding toilet can be heard IN STEREO. Guess who's in the same place that Link up there is?]

[And then she turns to her companion, which can, again, be seen up there.]

[It's Nina's voice. Sounding hushed and more than a little worried.]

[Sometime during hour two, a phone flickers on. Nina is laying in the bathtub, still and quiet. She has a flat, neutral, almost determined expression on her face, although the fear can clearly be seen in her eyes for people who are adept at reading other's expressions. She has a long history of just saying in what place, waiting, and that part of this doesn't bother her, even if many other parts of this do.

Her expression quickly changes, however. Her entire body tenses, she gasps, and the fear that was hovering behind her gasses seems to take her over completely. She's looking at something outside of the phone's range of vision.

But just as quickly as she tensed up, Nina seems to relax. As if the thing she was staring at in horror had disappeared. She glances to her side, only to notice the phone is on now. With one still shaking hand she reaches out to grab it.]

I-It's okay. I'm okay. Don't worry. [She tries to sound less shaken that she feels.]

How many people are still out there? I'd like to hear from anyone who's still alive. Please. Just I know who's safe.

[In the dim light, her gaze is almost pleading. Nina knows this can't have been very long at all. She doesn't want to think anyone has been harmed so quickly into the game. Well, she doesn't want to believe anyone has been harmed at all.]

Third Hour [voice]

[Distant wailing from the bears in the hallway can be dimly heard, as well as the slow dripping of blood in the bathroom and the quiet rattle of kitchenware. Francisca's breath is shallow and sounds almost too loud with the phone held to her ear, but in reality she's being as silent as possible, whispering barely audibly:]

This is a nightmare.

Fifth Hour [visual]

[Coughs from the sudden appearance of dust and mold, jerking a little and making the floorboards creak under her. Doesn't realize this is broadcasting either, closing her eyes and tiredly keeping her cheek to the floor, clearly hiding under some piece of furniture or another. Broadcast abruptly ends.]

Hour Seven [Audio]

Fuc-!

[There's the sound of struggling and someone being dragged out. Other then some grunts, and stifled yelps or cries, Dave is surprisingly more quiet as he's skinned.

After a few grueling minutes, it quiets down and things seem to be still.

At least until:] H-Hah...did that record...? [The voice sounds strained and there's a scraping sound as Dave tries to drag himself to his communicator.] S-so? Who's still kicking?

[Of course the bear would leave him to slowly die. That would just be too nice to kill him quickly.]

[Voice quavering, but wanting to make sure he doesn't die completely alone.]

Can you make it to safety, mon cher? [Doesn't want to know what might happen if another bear chances on Dave while he's still barely alive.]

Hour Seven [Video]

[Nina's video flickers on again. It's hard to tell if she has turned it on or if it simply came on. And there will be no time to find out.

She looks up, again with horror in her eyes, and at first just stares up at the beat. Then...

There's a high-pitched, blood curdling scream as the phone goes flying, the dim scenery doing blurry cartwheels. She can be heard as it flips. Though it's probably impossible to see through the blurriness, Nina is trying to fight although she is unable to overwhelm the tiny bear.]

Don't do this to me! Stop! Stop!!!

[The phone clatters to a landing. The angle is odd and lopsided, but Nina can still be seen clearly. She is pale and one of her hands is placed over the gaping hole in her midsection. Her entrails have been strewn throughout the room and the bathtub and Nina are smeared with dark red blood. Her blue eyes are open and hollow, lifeless. She is still breathing now, gasping for air. But she won't be for long.]

Nina! [Suzaku stares into the phone in horror unable to do anything, not even knowing where she is never mind if he'd even be able to get there in time.

Hour Twelve

[Zelda's posts to the network have been relatively quiet, usually just showing whatever Link posts from a different angle.

Until now.

There is the sound of a door opening, and suddenly light falls upon the princess' face. Her eyes widen in primal fear, and the phone is dropped, face up, luckily for you viewers. You all get to see that look of sheer terror frozen in place, as Zelda herself seems to morph into a pink, crystalline statue.

She is picked up, and. . .]

[ocariness]

[ ... Now the video feed shows her companion, whom many may recognize as Link. ]

Zelda--

[ And as this is happening, Link draws their sword, but there is no fighting this. Link's face is nothing but terror, but the hero refuses to reveal the names of anyone else, and thus...

Zelda's crystalline form is brought up, and slowly swung down on the Hero of Time's head.

There is a shriek, perhaps slightly too high for them in tone as Zelda is brought down on the rest of them, over and over and over again each time with a sickening crack, until Zelda herself breaks, each time brought up again, swung down, yet again.

This is beyond overkill; it is positively an uncaring massacre. Zelda herself, drenched in blood.

Blood splatters everything around them, painting the dresser red and causing the feed of the phone to spill red on itself as well.

Link's mangled corpse, a hand still twitching slowly, falls silent, and Zelda is brought down many more times until she shatters, the two of them, still remaining, dead side by side. One in pieces, one smashed beyond recognition. ]
