[His eyes jerk up at the finger, but remains silent. He obediently - though a bit begrudgingly - keeps his mouth shut until she commands him to explain. He snorts, glowering at her.]

Got nothing to motherfucking explain. Events that all transpired just up and motherfucking happened.

You could start by explaining your tone with me and what you thought gave you the right to answer back to me with anything but a proper answer.

[Its a warning, though more threatening is the stare she sends right back at him. Despite being a head or two shorter, she has no fear of him, though her frustration doesn't yet translate to anger.

Its easy to see that her patience is short, despite that. Her next question is an honest one, rather than an accusatory statement.]

[He makes a low growling noise deep in his throat, looking a little taken back. His shoulders hunch a little, and he doesn't respond to the first part, keeping his mind occupied with the question she asks.]

No. [Though his voice sounds smaller than usual, he doesn't look away. His glowering remains, though with a hint of apprehension.]

[Her lips purse at his answer, but his cooperation seems to have staved off what could have been a much more vicious reaction.]

Then you lied to me and you will begin your explanation immediately.

[She approaches him, still fixing him with that stern stare.]

My own recollection of the days events has holes. Start filling them.

[His lips peel back into a displeased sneer, but maybe he should...try...at least. When she steps closer, he doesn't move, but watches her almost warily.]

Gotta say you weren't all motherfucking there, in your thinkpan, that is. [His memory of that moment was quite fine, unfortunately.
